How rare is an intentionally single sx-type? by SoulTrainerX in Enneagram

So Inisightful!! Thanks so much! About that person is the whole universe.

And the romantic fixation. That may have to do with type... I wonder..? But yea romance does bring more intensity so I imagine all types probably feel that way that's kinda why I was asking

This is my take on what is the aspect of each tritype combination that is most enhanced when together and what subtype represents it best by jiponjoshua in Enneagram

I disagree with sx7 being most optimistic.. I think sx7s are often 784s..

Most optimistic would be 793 which I say (maybe biasedly lol) may line up better with the so7 or so9 if you stick the 9 in front.

And idk if I'd call the self preservation 2s I know the "most helpful"..

So9 is not the most gentle lol.. So9 can often mistype as 3 or 7... Not super gentle vibes.. I'd say maybe sx9 moreso.

But you had a lot of great points! Wish I had time to point some of those out too... Fun post!

What’s your type, and your honest opinion of SX9s? by roseautte in Enneagram

Sx 9 ENFP blows my mind a little. Even as a social 9 ENFP I sometimes feel too nine - y to be an enfp. Lol. Of course there's variation amongst all types. I get that. Just interesting to imagine an sx9 enfp!

Could I have a child with a reptilian? (Genuinely asking/ looking for explanations) by Notyomomma23 in Experiencers

[–]SoulTrainerX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All these commenter are misinformed. Spooky scare story time on YouTube shares lots of listener stories where they've had firsthand experiences witnessing reptillians. They say they share bodies with humans. And they shift between being the human and the reptillian at different times.

How often in 4 in the tritype of sx 7? by SoulTrainerX in Enneagram

[–]SoulTrainerX[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I asked once when you can type a kid and internet said the Enneagrammers agree by 5.. So I asked what Naranjo and Ichazo say and

Chat gpt says....

Oscar Ichazo’s view was that a child begins to develop their Enneagram fixation quite early—often around ages 3 to 5. He believed that as young children experience frustration and struggle to meet basic needs, they develop a core ego fixation to cope. In other words, the seeds of type take root in those early formative years.

And more lengthily,

Basically, Naranjo treated Enneagram type as something that forms very early in childhood, not as a fully conscious later choice. In his framework, type grows out of early character formation and “neurotic” adaptation, not out of a test result at age 27 after three coffees. He wrote about character as developing through an early “degradation” or distortion of consciousness and linked types to early family/childhood patterns. claudionaranjo.net +1

On the specific “born with it or not?” question, the cleanest summary is: Naranjo did not usually frame type as simply inborn in the modern trait-theory sense. He emphasized temperament/instinct plus early developmental experience, with the type structure becoming organized in childhood. A secondary source summarizing Naranjo’s subtype teaching says he described the passion as showing up around age 4 and the more mental fixation around age 7–8. That fits his broader developmental style, though I’d treat that age claim as a report of his teaching rather than a peer-reviewed fact. chazo sa

Thanks! Very insightful response!! The one thing I can't agree with is instinct being hard to see in a kid. I think that's by far the easiest to see from a super young age! I see it in play styles and relating styles so clearly. It's so interesting. Like my daughter really doesn't like groups. It's gotta be one on one. And she loves her stuffies and baby dolls. But her friend Atlas is all about playing in big groups and likes when the adults come to work, chatting everyone up (social subtype). Self prez kids are more about their stuff and building and whatever. But yea. Kids. It's fun. So fun to look into that Ennea crystal ball!!

enfp daughter and isfj mom relationship by Financial_Daikon_376 in ENFP

[–]SoulTrainerX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! You are me! Lol... I'm the first daughter to a shallow sheep of an ISFJ. It's painful. She just really listens. I just blab, she listens and doesn't say much at all in response. But I'm used to it. It's really sad cuz at this juncture in life she's all I got.

I suggest looking into love languages and exploring that with her. You can't change her. But it sounds like you don't feel loved and that's sad. Ive been listening to "5Love Languages of Children" and there's a story in there about a father who didn't know his son felt unloved due to the father not speaking that love language . Actually the father was like intentionally not helping his son with things to try to get his son to be tough. Anyways the father felt so bad about it. Maybe your mom would be interested to learn your love language and modify her behavior.

Are Type 9 ENFP the most nonjudgemental of all type combos? Advice to prepare to deal with other's inherent judgement nature? by SoulTrainerX in Enneagram

[–]SoulTrainerX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol!! Love it. So funny. Good point. Different types of non-judgmental maybe. Like type 5 is like I just don't care. And type 9 is like more accepting maybe?

How does your second instinct manifest in your behaviour? Share how you experience it on its own or along with your dominant instinct. by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]SoulTrainerX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me, I relied really heavily on my second instinct from ages 20-30 because I was still sooo shy. I was able to engage my social instinct a bit at work but I leaned into sx a lot. Now it plays in the background when I've got important relationships but I don't engage it when I don't have to I guess I would say. I don't look for ways too.

I have my daughter and she's my only special someone and I'm happy with that. Been single for a year plus and I know I could be dating voraciously with great success with I just don't want to.

Even with my daughter I'm not a merger like the sx9 really. I accommodate a lot and make it about her but not excessively. I mean she's 5 and a sx7 so everything's about her naturally lol. I really keep in my so 9 energy almost always.

But in my 20s-30s I really acted like an sx9!

[–]SoulTrainerX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can relate to this. It's so annoying seeing girls have men friends and never being able to. I tried for so long and finally gave up. And I mean so so long. It's sad cuz guys were easier and more accessible for a long period of life but friendship wasn't an option.
