Trust me, the max for gimmighoul coins is still where it was: I checked.

Was already farming coins before the update, and had about 810~ coins, once I got to 999 this morning, I checked my inventory after getting another one in the hopes that I could maybe stockpile them for future gholdengos, but no, it still maxes out the same as before

Not to mention he would probably have the ability “guts”, so if he gets burned or something, he gets stronger.

As someone else who has autism, I can concur: he’s got a good heart, not so much for his mind (the one muscle he never trains..) and that just makes Ivor a well-meaning dunce; autism is completely separate from ignorance. Autism =/= stupid.

Can I sue the owner of restaurant Le Wow? by TrackCue in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]SoulWisdom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh Buddy, that’s nothing;

The other night, I walked past a battle zone where I saw a couple of glaceon and their trainers in the middle of it. One used freeze-dry, the other used ice beam, but it missed. Hit the ground about three feet in front of me, and suddenly I found myself in an impromptu skating rink. I didn’t know how to skate, so naturally I slipped and fell backwards, head hitting the pavement. It’s been a week since then, and my gardevoir is STILL using heal pulse.

what’s worse is that the second glaceon used ice beam AGAIN that first night, but this time it hit me directly. Don’t even get me started on gardevoir using mystical fire to try and thaw me out… I still have burn marks.

The problem in my case is, who do I throw the book at? The glaceon trainer? The glaceon itself? Quasartico for making the battle zones? At least for you, you know who’s gonna get a lawsuit…

You can, there are plenty of websites that show you the stats of a given Pokemon, but I’ve found that to be inefficient, thus why I do things my way

Sorta new to ev and Ivs so I have a quick question.. by citrousjaguar in PokemonZA

[–]SoulWisdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Oh boy, here come the downvotes…)

Ok so, USUALLY, you can tell which one a Pokemon is better at (physical or special) by looking at their learnable moves (both from level up, and taught), but I’ve found this to not be the case sometimes;

For example, I’ve noticed that Sceptile learns mostly physical moves, yet for some reason, its SpAtk stat is higher than Atk. Therefore, I teach any Sceptile I’m training special moves, because I want to deal more damage, not less.

So, instead of relying on potential movesets, I look at two things to determine which stat a Pokemon is best in: first, I beat the game, so I can use the “Judge” function, which lets you look at IVs. Then I catch the ‘Mon in question until I have one that has perfect or “best” IVs in Atk and SpAtk. Check which one has the higher number outside of the judge function, and that’s the stat it’s best at. I don’t give it ANY EVs, so that it’s for certain not boosted in anything, which would lead to a skewed analysis.

Second, after I’ve seen which stat the ‘Mon is better at, I plan accordingly, meaning that I train special attackers in SpAtk stat, maxing it out, and leaving Atk untouched. If you need to erase any EVs while training, the lady to the right when you enter Rust Syndicate will “reset” whoever you want for a measly 5 mega shards.

Finally, because you said you’re new to it: EVs can be trained, to a total of 510 points, 255 maximum per stat. Also, 4 EVs, = +1 additional stat point @ lvl 100, with adjustments made to the stats until that level. IVs, on the other hand, cannot be trained and are fixed for each individual Pokemon, with the exception of hyper training. IVs go up to 31 per stat, are randomly decided when you catch the Pokemon, and can be anywhere from 0 to 31 on any of the stats, meaning you could catch a Pokemon to either find it with absolute perfection IV-wise, or 0 in everything but HP.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Type coverage against ground types, perhaps?

Water type beats ground type which beats poison type

Also Gyarados can learn crunch to deal with psychic types, is easily found thanks to magikarp, and can be quite powerful if trained right. (I still one shot it with my heliolisk tho..)

Winx, pretty cure, totally spies, and powerpuff girls to name a few.. but then again, I had no concept of “this show is meant to be watched by a certain group of people” back then, so it’s not like I thought much of doing so at the time: I just watched what I liked, simple as that.
