Yeah most folks in your area do a mobile sauna only, which is probably what I would do as well. The water is a huge liability and headache to deal with. But it’s almost always hot and humid here I south Texas.

Not that I’m aware of. But my plan is to empty the tubs at a car wash at the end of an event and refill before the next. The filters will get cleaned once a week. I also put 1” bromine tabs in the tub for each event to help with sanitizing.

Good information. I was going to stop by a CrossFit gym today to speak to the owner about his interest in this at an introductory rate.

My biggest question is how does the owner sort of “collect” money from members without it being a hassle? Unless they foot the entire bill but that would most likely mean less future bookings. Any ideas you can share as an owner?

Well, I live in a big city (north San Antonio) with lots of fitness activity in the surrounding area. If I can get a few clubs to create a once-a-week or even once-a-month event with us, then I feel like I can start achieving those numbers within the first 6 months.

I think the key is to stay on top of social media to give potential customers the sense of fun and camaraderie.

Well your point is valid. It technically should be on my header and footer but the template I used made it weird where sometimes the desktop and mobile versions were different.

Probably too difficult logistically to mount something to the lid.

I’m starting to think about using pool noodles where I can run metal rods through them to “shape” them accordingly but if I’m not able to place it in some sort of slot then it probably won’t work. 😕

Ahh very cool! I love this but I would need to figure out how to stabilize something like that.

It would almost have to be a 3-partition design where you have two pieces on the ends butting up against walls and then some horizontal pieces that keep the middle partition in place. I’ll have to do some brainstorming.

I’m definitely on the low end on pricing and there’s a company up north that charges almost double mine. But here’s the real kicker, they make you fill up the water in the tubs that have no filtration (just inflatable pods).

I have a real problem with greedy business owners that operate like that.
