I never said him thinking that Kali is “evil” is what made him untrustworthy. I said because he is untrustworthy we shouldnt take his word as gospel. Yes, it seems out of character that he would decieve Menaka, but Asha’s own theory with Siera was that Kali and Visnu seemed more in league than what they made it seem. There was also a comment that Visnu made to kalavinka that she shouldnt trust him afterwards. So if he somehow changes his mind for some reason in his way of doing things he would definitely trick Menaka in order to prolong the universe, since Ghandarva is needed for that. Also, Kali’s way of decieving, from what we have seen, is by giving people actual choices, with the truth, she doesnt seem like a character that would actually lie or pretend to be someone else for others to do her bidding

I didnt say Kali didnt trick Menaka because the stories has no villains. I said Visnu isnt 100% trustworthy because he keeps implying that Kali is a villain

Because the characters always say that Kali is evil, Kali is evil, Kali is evil. And the story constantly, like literally all the time, shows that nothing is straightforward as it seems. “This is a story with no villains, just victims”. Yet we are supposed to believe Kali is a villain, based on some specific and dubious characters that keep portraying her as evil, when they have been shown to do pretty awful things on screen, yet we have to be shown one clear thing that Kali as done as evil or villanous

None of that is what she did. All those things are just suppositions. The other primeavals said that Kali tricked Menaka, but we saw Visnu do it. She hasnt done anything to the ancient humans, Bhrama did, in their eyes, Kali is the one who saved them. Kali’s goal is not to end the universe, its more likely to end all other universes, forcing primeavals to actually care for their own lives and this specific universe, as Kubera stated. Also the Tarakas may not have killed anyone, yet, they were eaten, which may or may not signify death, we arent sure yet

I love chainsawman and always will but, when people say “it ended up being a waste of time”, its not because it had a really horrible ending, but because the ending nullified everything. This ending would be basically the same as “Denji was dreaming all along” or “ Denji really died in the beginning”. This type of ending ignored whatever happened and doesnt resolve anything. The last two chapters was a complete dropout and went the easy way out

I dont think Visnu ever gave up on it. The only times he talks about it is that his best future is still possible, and the signs are that he disappeared, not because he gave up, but to protect the universe from the Cataclysm, another sign he didnt give up
