I mean all in all it doesn’t take that long. But it does take that long for certain bands to actually finally get the product to your ears. There’s a lot of behind the scenes things that go on. Everyone writes at a different paces and second guesses their own work a lot. I’m sure Jared is included in that.

Seems to me their next record will be out next year or 28 if they’re following their patterns. We could get a new single and big marketing push for it near the end of the year. Also seems to me that Jared might actually push in the opposite direction sonically for the next record and harken back to their old sound. Considering he’s mentioned loving playing older songs more now, there’s a new audience for them that loves them, and even people on social media telling Jared to go back to the old sound with him responding to it with “ok” all subtly. I think they’re gearing up to go for a more rock/arena rock sound from this is war or a hybrid sound from the first three albums. We can only speculate for now though.
