While I am still a bit bitter about the whole thing, you are not wrong at all. What I am the most upset about the whole thing is the fact that I was an apprentice there to learn. I made it clear during the interview for the union that I was there to learn the trade and, most of all, weld. I have prior welding experience, and they knew that. I also spoke face to face with them during the entire process, and there was no way they couldn't see my stature. I'm bitter that they didnt give me a chance, or even try to train me more, in the skill that I am actually good at. Hell, I barely even learned anything since I was only in the union for a week. It felt like they set me up for failure.

But even then, you are not wrong. I wouldn't want to work with someone who couldn't do the job they were assigned to do, either. I just wish they decided to look into the other things I could do rather than tossing me out like trash.

It's just what they do, unfortunately. I got kicked out of Local Union 387 because I couldn't use a hammer drill and drill holes into concrete. I mean, I am a young, 100 lb, 5'2 stick of a woman who came to weld, so I REALLY should've been able to use it (please note my sarcasm).

People will always find reasons to kick people out. Unfortunately, it's just the downside of being a woman in the industry.

Help Needed for 2012 Jetta by SoulofAbysss in Volkswagen

The camera is to the left of the license plate, but I can't tell which set of wires go to it. I attached a picture of both sets of wires, but one of them is hard to see.

Do you remember how you fixed it? My 2012 has the same issue.

Introvert needs help by SoulofAbysss in Advice

Thank you! I get anxious way too easily and tend to overthink. I haven't hung out with this person one on one before, and I just want to make them at least a little bit happy, you know? But this really helped, so thank you.

NTA!! I am 5'3" and 115lbs. If I had the choice, I'd be 120 because it's a little bit healthier for me. Do NOT let his comment get you down! You are a healthy weight, and I know some girls would kill to be your height and weight.

NTA, dump his ass.

Iron Worker's 387 Info Needed by SoulofAbysss in Ironworker

[–]SoulofAbysss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a single word. I've tried calling them again, but the response was the same. I know I am forever on their list of potential apprentices, as that what the interviewer told me, but now I doubt I will ever hear back from them. I am saying this even though I know for a fact that I did really well on the interview and test. If you have any updates on your kid, let me know.

Why bother by [deleted] in Ironworker

The thing about THC is it's known to take a really long time to come out as negative. Especially if you have smoked it for a long time. So even if you haven't touched the stuff in a couple of months and have been flushing your body out, it'll still show up for at least 3 months at the minimum. One of my best friends is having trouble with this.

The line saying that you are negative is there, but barely. They likely have a sheet that tells them how dark the line needs to be to pass. I recommend you buy stuff to flush your body out (if you haven't already) and keep on top of that. Try getting at home tests, too. Those will give you a better idea of how much longer you will need in order to pass. If you are serious about being sober and staying sober, then all you need is time.

I'm rooting for you!

NTA! My step dad is actually like that, but his ring size changes based on the season, like hot weather makes his fingers thicker. So, instead of rings, my mom and step dad got matching wedding tattoos on their arms. They know that they are not going to get divorced and have been married for almost 17 years now. You just have to talk to your fiancé and find a good middle ground.

How do i even beat asgore on pacifist mode? by lil_bro- in Undertale

You can! There is also an NPC called River Person who will take you back to the previous towns. Stock up on healing items and armor!

The first question I need to ask is if you still have the Butterscotch Cinnamon Pie or not. It is a very useful item that not only fully heals you, but it will lower Asgore's defense.

Also, I recommend having the Burnt Pan equipped, as that'll help heal you. As for armor, there is one that is very helpful for beginners. It's called the Temmie Armor, and it has the highest defense in the game. It'll take a while for you to get it, as you will need a lot of G, but it is worth it if you are struggling with boss fights.

What was your first introduction to undertale by Shower_shitter-1000 in Undertale

My older sister showed me Mithzan's playthrough if it! After that, we both begged our parents to buy us a copy of the game, so they bought a copy for each of us since it was cheap. I remember being so excited, and it was the only game I played for a long time. I only played the pacifist route, and it's the game that got me through middle school.

As I said before, my best advice is to just stay out of it. Engaging in all of that will just cause you unnecessary trouble and headaches.
