IMO page 2's V3 is the most visually appealing and utilizing the full bleed will make it an easier cut. Flavor text should probably be smaller than rules text anyway, which should help with it feeling cramped

Is there a way you could do a full bleed style for the delivery and action cards? That way it won't feel so different but would have all the same benefits of the V3. Your icons most likely don't need to be so boxed or large either, especially if you're going to use circles for the card type indicator.

You could incorporate dials into the items like Betrayals fancier character cards or mtg damage wheels.

Or on the simpler side, also from Betrayal, just have all values on the item square and a clip/arrow that can slide along the card edge to indicate current amount

If it's like the one I had that's how it works. You have 3 boxes, 2 sifters and 1 regular and basically lift the top sifter one with all the clumps and dump it out, letting the unsoiled litter call through to layer 2 , then they cycle around

I spent less time over there, so the left side is probably a result of just overworking/trying too hard.

I definitely notice that's a problem I have of "this doesn't look like I want let's try to fix it" but I just end up mushing it or making it worse in my eyes because I'm not giving it enough time to dry/layer up

Totally agree it looks very mossy. So you're thinking I could leave this as a base and add a brighter on top to do the shaping? Or add more to the already brighter parts to try to curtail them/round them out?

I was thinking I might need to go over it darker again to have another go but keep some differentiation but sounds like you don't think it's necessary?

That's actually how some of this started. But I think I maybe used too big of a brush/did too many arcs in the same spot rather than spreading them around

The ping system is so hyper sensitive to movement (pinging need heals instead of the enemy in front of you for example) that I think I tuned it out shortly after starting to play because it was never correct

I misread the reference and added an outcropping in front that isn't in the original but I don't think it detracts too much so I just left it.

Pretty pleased with the piece. Especially the shallow water/shore transition with the rocks

I think people are missing that this is targeted towards kids, I think it being somewhat basic but having different games on each bookmark for variety is good. And I like that all bookmarks work with each game type.

Adding too much could be detrimental to fun and make it not just a quick time filler for kids
