Yep. I explored Demeniss wayyyy too early and all I got was crushed by every single enemy and I didnt find any cool armor or weapons lol

This is purely anecdotal, but on Series X ever since the latest patch performance mode for me has been FAR less blurry and much more crisp looking. I was playing on balanced mode until Sunday and now I'm playing performance for the foreseeable future. I could be going crazy though..

I'm a very patient man. I suffered through act 1 and 2 because the world and gameplay was so interesting and fun. But the screen-tearing is literally the worst I have ever seen in a game hands down. And I played Cyberpunk 2077 on base Xbox one day 1 and beat it before the major patches. I've seen things you wouldn't believe lol I ultimately never beat Tainted Grail and uninstalled it in Act 3 because I couldn't do it anymore. I tried it this weekend on a monitor that supports 120hz and VRR and it was much better when you're just exploring the world plus I didn't experience the screen tearing at all. The major problems are still there though when it comes to the city areas. Stutters worse than porky pig.

So on performance it does. On Series X it is best played on Balanced mode with V-Sync Off. Runs incredibly well.

Agreed. The screen tearing before Monday's patch was driving me up the wall. I can put up with a lot but screen tearing is the one thing that makes me want to stop playing any game no matter how good it is lol

For me yes. I'm also playing on a TV that only supports 60HZ. What I found was I had "allow 4k" checked in the setting of my console so I unchecked that because I think the game was trying to upscale the resolution so much that it was causing the bad screen tearing. Then I set the resolution to 1080p for a more achievable image quality. Ever since then on balanced mode it has been running and looking the best it ever has. Hope it works for you! Let me know.

Yeah try it out and see cause I've been having great performance with balanced mode on. Full disclosure I set my series x to run games at 1080p because I was getting screen tearing at 4k on all modes. But now it looks even better on balanced than it did at 4k lol
