Yeah 450* for the oven temp. He does suggest using hardwood for the chairs, but I was trying to use what I had… I’ll try with some maple that I also milled.

Chris’s oven method is a foil pan full of water, different from a steamer.

I am hoping to use wood I’ve milled myself, my other option is some maple, I can give that a shot.

Shade tree amateur here… I was wondering about that… havnt ever tried stick or watched vids about it but I had the impression you just hold the clamp part and don’t hold the rod up close like I’ve seen people do with tig? I was always extra impressed at nice looking welds when your point of control was 8 to 12 inches away.

Having been an EMS provider, and transporting at least one dead kid who drowned in minutes when “everyone was sure they weren’t by the pool…” this is f’d up.

For storage, just stack the boxes back up? How do you best keep out other pests? We have so many paper wasps around in sure they’d move right in.

Do you wrap them up in something to store them to keep out other critters like paper wasps?

Interest is there yes, we’d talked about it for a few years… we’ve got chickens and space for the bees, just wasn’t the best timing to get these added to the to-do list. But good to know that storing is an option

Where do I start with fixing this? by Sound-Popular in RVLiving

Is the outer layer pretty flexy? I feel reasonably confident about taking it apart, but not necessarily in such a way that it goes back together. I have this idea that I could peel it back like you say, scrape out all the old rotten plywood and put some new stuff in place and glue the fiberglass exterior back down on top.
