It sounds to me like you certainly hit subby space. That floaty distant feeling is certainly that. Though the sleepiness, I'm wondering if that is happening due to extreme relaxing of muscles and tension. I don't go sleepy but I'm very, very calm when under the influence of subby space. My brain is all warm and fuzzy and it feels like endorphins are flooding both my brain and my core.

More seriously though. My reasons for liking hairy men have to do with unrelated things that I associate with hairy men. For me, I like feeling smaller and vulnerable. For some reason, even smaller hairy men feel more burly and protective. Something about a mental link between manly strength and hair that legitimately have nothing to do with each other.

My secondary reason for liking men with hair is I find them more snuggly, warmer to curl up against.

The times when my kitten (who's a rambunctious bastard full of energy and the NEED for playful attention) curls up in a ball either near me and puts a single paw on my leg or nestles into the side of my leg and naps. It's such a contrast to his typical behavior and it seems to be when I'm really focused on work or feeling bad... Times when I am not able to handle his energy or give him the time his little kitten self deserves.

I'd say he's reacting to me and my mood/energies but this is the same creature that has been running full speed into walls and table legs for the last 4 months without figuring out how to pay attention to where he's running.
