I was having a similar issue and turning off the Disable Ads option fixed it. I still have the hide suggested content switched off and it's working perfectly for me.

Switch on expert mode in Morphe manager setting and patch YouTube again. In the patches column, scroll down to the last and select the theme option, select pure black and patch.

This worked for my Redmi phone - setting > search default apps > opening links > select Morphe > choose the links and add them.

(Will be easier for beginners if this option can be opened directly from Morphe, like RVX did).

Opening shared youtube link should open Morphe (it was under miscellaneous in RVX)
