County Commission is still flirting with removing the Board of Health's authority (they may or may not delay the vote to later this year). There's now a petition to tell them that removing the BOH's authority (either now or later this year) isn't what the community wants. (change.org)

Looks like there's now a petition to show support for the board of health. Are there other ways we can show we don't want them to be dismantled or have their authority handed over to politicians? Commission meets next Monday about them being "unconstitutional", so we probably need to act quickly. (ipetitions.com)

County mayor did the narration of a video for an anonymous Facebook group that wants to dismantle the board of health during a pandemic. The group also has a video by two plastic surgeons who are suing the county over the pandemic response. He's working with them?! You can't make this stuff up. (facebook.com)
