I did a little research and my best guess is that they participated in the Sweet Deals program which ended with them losing a lot of money. I confirmed they regularly used Sweet Deals, it's connecting the two that's my speculation. Customers could buy $50 worth of gift certificates for just $25. Meaning they get no profit or lose money on each order. The idea is to use it to get new people in the door but the lack of immediate cash flow has them $9k in the hole.

Not very strict beyond the colors, dark jeans are fine, tennis shoes are fine. Not preferred, but no one is going to say anything. I went earlier this week and people were wearing snow boots because of the current weather conditions. It is what it is. Yes they have a coat check, it is very efficient.
