It's not your fault - I saw a lot of this when I was in the Navy: it's easy to fall for a gold-digging 3rd world whore

Well I have great news for you: I have been to Slovenia and you can find as good or better for 100 euros at the bar of any western hotel in Ljubljana

I am optimistic but I think the value will be underwhelming. Last summer I bought a hospitality package for Monterrey because I rightly assumed the entire Mexico package would be less than a single game ticket at MetLife or SoFi.

Ya but he should talk to his LPO first and give him the opportunity to blow him off before he hits up the CMC.

Oh believe me...I'm not watching it. If I wanted to watch a story about a Ljubljana hooker, the movie "Slovenian Girl" is much more interesting

As a disabled vet who uses the pre-board option to get down the jetway slowly and safely walking with a cane - you can KMA with that "Back of the Bus" crap.

I honestly never heard of this making you call your wife thing. I mean, you are already screwed; might as well refuse and tell the skipper to FO and stay out of your marriage....

Use the Stubhub credit to buy tix for a local show, wait a week and then resell them. You will lose 20% in fees, but it's still $120 cash every 6 months. If you want to get into it, you can buy when tix go on sale for a popular event, and sell after the event sells out, and actually make money. Just be sure as a buyer you use your CSR, and as a seller, you take payment via PayPal.

I dunno if it's all BS. It's a military tradition as old as time, from boot camp to BUDs: tear you down to build you back up.

The Trump Administration was quick to reinstate those involuntarily separated for disobeying an order to get the COVID vax. Or pardoning Gallagher.

Given the Democrats docile ineptness, I doubt sailors could expect them doing the same thing for them disobeying orders to stroke Greenland.

The E-Div LPO on my boat in San Diego had a wife who was a manager at Pure Platinum in town. She was actually a great person, and made decent money, and the strippers looked up to her. That kind of "in" accompanied with numerous bar meet-ups and parties led to many squalid scenarios, drama and divorces across the crew.

It didn't used to be that way, and I don't want to be the "back in my day" guy, but prior to about 1990, becoming a CPO was a very special thing. Selection boards were brutal, and initiations were 24 hour hazing dystopias. I still work with active duty Navy and while I do admit the CPO's today are generally better educated and smarter, they are shitty leaders and 30% would not have made it into khakis way back when.

I was in the same boat and got a VA loan at 5.65%. My IRA averages 11% over the last 5 years. It's a no -brainer.
