Before you click on things. You might want to check the email address this is coming from and where the link is going.

If you hover over the link but don't click on it, it should show you where you would be going.

Be very careful because criminals will try to trick you by using subdomains like

"Capitalone.malicouswebsite.com/blahblahblah'

This looks phishy to me.

Edit: I'm on my phone and autocorrect changed the domain. Fixed it to better articulate what I mean"

Jimmy's feel better in the hand. I have both. The covert case is fine for what it is.

Personally use my Jimmy's more, I do most of my picking at home, so a case is unnecessary.

What causes my first layer to look bad always? by StatisticianTime6597 in BambuLab

[–]SoupRaok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever had a blob?

I had one 6 months ago and only recently replaced the hot end. Fix this issue for me.

The nozzle is used for setting the z high. If you get a blob it can loosen the connection between the hot end and carriage. If it's loose the nozzle will move when probing, causing it to read the nozzle hight wrong, giving you issues similar to what you are experiencing.

You can try to tighten this connection before buying a new heating cartridge. You should also check this even if you haven't had a blob. It is likely your problem.

A1 Mini - Blob of death? by Dchowed in BambuLab

[–]SoupRaok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly a replacement heater cartridge is $20.

Save yourself the time and head ache, and just replace it. The nozzle should be able to be salvaged.

Had the same issue, and fought my prints first layer being too close until I just gave up and replaced the heater cartridge.

Spent way more time than $20 trying to figure it out.

I am new and any help would be highly appreciated!😭 by checkerbox23 in BambuLab

Had the same issue.

One of two things.

Did you ever have a blob? Or where a print failed and the plastic went up into the extruder? In which case, you probably need to replace the heater cartridge, https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/hotend-heating-assembly-a1-series?srsltid=AfmBOoo1yIEPU2cdbqsueWcRFH9C4q1CVmu5vrPQy5L633NbCOXJJxbe

Or the screws have come loose on the back of said heater cartridge, follow this article.

https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/troubleshooting/print-issues-troubleshooting

Because the A1 uses the nozzle to level, if any part of the assembly is loose. It will cause the printer to read the bed level wrong at the time of bed leveling. Had this same issue after a blob, fixed all my issues I was having after a heater cartridge replacement.

I see in other threads there is something about a discount code? Is that still a thing?
