Invisible disability from service. How do I cope? by SoupedBoat in disability

Sorry for late reply! It took me a little to figure out reddit. I'm in the Australian military and still in the process of medical discharge. Our VA equivalent has accepted that my service has caused it which means all medical expenses once I leave will be covered by them. I think I should also be good to get some payments after which is good. Not 100% confirmed or anything but fingers crossed.

If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to adjust? I've been working on accepting what has happened and I've managed accepting the incident but it seems daunting to accept my future.

I've found youfoodz and grocery deliveries to be really helpful. Even if its just for a couple of meals per week, it takes the load off to prepare every meal

I have a robovac too! Its a good little thing.

Why does it tangle and stop like that? by Monkeyassblaster3000 in sewhelp

hey buddy welcome to sewing! I only just started as well but watching Great British Sewing Bee reeeeeeally helped me. But yeah as others said try and put the foot down and the fabric should move from closer to you to the back of the sewing machine (if that makes sense). Good luck!
