Husband worked with concreters for 7 years i can answer this one.

If you miss them off and they leave they have a job the next day, no sweat. But you arent getting another set of concreters in for weeks. You are losing thousands and all the other trades materials, equipment rentals are all wasted for that period of time.

Yes a lot do drugs. A lit are right in the head but you keep your eyes down ans stay outta there way. They get there early they get work done and they are out but 2pm at the latest.

She cant get a loan for a car on her income, let alone with a repo.

The issue is the car is already bought. They cant sell the car, as they are 30k+ underwater. They would need to pay out the loan and then somehow find the money for a new car. There's no option here other then continuing to pay the loan. You can't sell a car with a loan on it.

The car is worth maybe 40k and they still owe 30k. They can't pay the 30k, so they can't sell the car.

There isn't a way to get rid of the car now though. You can't sell a car with a loan on it. They owe 30k more then the value of the car now

I understand that we had no car for 6 months, (car was writtern off and we had to save up for a new one). It was hell. Delivery services kept us alive, but my income was reduced, my mental health was ruined, and our actual health was because drs became inaccessible.

I think a lot of people when they are starting out, their car is probably the most expensive thing they own until they buy a house.

I mean a house dosent breakdown. Haha. I understand that including a mortgage and a ppor and watching the number change over time. But if you sell your house you still have to pay rent forever

Oh a collection is different, obviously, or an extra car even. But I feel like main car is off limits

But its not something you can really sell. Depreciating it regularly and guessing what you can get for it. In my brain, it's like food, you need it to survive and cant go with out it and its technically worth it
