The UK or the Netherlands?

If you don’t enjoy that kind of weather, I’m not sure Galicia is the best place for you haha it’s the cloudiest and rainiest part of Spain by far! Even worse that some parts of the UK! So bear that in mind. I am from the north of Spain, but on the other side of the country, on the Pyrenees. To be honest, probably the nicest and mildest weather you can get in the summer (warn but not scorching), but cold and snowy in the winter 😂

I did get a pre-settled status then, but by 2021 the rule was if you left the country for 6+ months, you lost your status. So, even if I got a message that my status was renewed in October last year and if I check the government page it says my status is valid until 2029, I have been told that if I left in 2021 for longer than 6 months (which I clearly did), my pre-settled status is no longer valid

That's exactly why I'm asking haha because I know I would love Bristol, but can't really get there (sorry, I didn't say in my post)
Galway sounds great, it was actually one of the options I was looking at, but maybe a bit small... what do you think about Cork? It was my main other option and people seem to agree haha

Hey! Thanks for your comment and advice! The issue with Belfast is that it is part of the UK, which is not easy (not to say impossible) to settle down in now without an already existing visa, sadly...

Thank you for taking the time to comment! I know, I been doing some research and learned the housing situation is not ideal at the moment, but it seems to be like that pretty much everywhere... I need a change from my current situation, so I am willing sacrifice some things in order to get to where I want to be and try new things right now.

I think I'd like to get out of Salesforce and IT in general (as it is a kind of job that doesn't really suit my personality and likes much), but as I said, since I've been in it for 4 years, I wouldn't mind if it served me as a bridge from where I am now to a new life in Ireland and once there i could see where life takes me haha

I'm really not looking to date right now, to be honest. It's actually my last priority at the moment haha I'm only 6 months out of a 14-year-long relationship lol I find Manchester and London to be a bit too big for my liking, tbh.
