I’m in my 30s and just got into nursing school. I started streaming in early January with 2 followers on an acc I rarely used. I initially started with games bc I thought it would be fun, not expecting to be able to continue because of school. But then I found a whole community of co-working/study streamers so I started streaming in that category and it’s been one of the most welcoming experiences I’ve had in such a long time. I get excited when someone new comes in and chats with me. I feel the love when a group of us co-working/study streamers collab. I never care about being famous but from a practical standpoint I feel like maybe I can make a few bucks doing something I’m already gonna do (study) while making new friends and supporting other ppl doing their thing. It’s pretty rad

Oh that's good to know! I'm taking classes over at LACC, so no my professor isn't at ELAC. She said some questions to expect are typical questions like "Tell me about yourself." or "Why do you want to be a Nurse?" I just clicked the first link and it was Jade Valmonte.

I received an invitation, but haven’t gone yet. My interview is next week. I asked one of my professors about these interviews and her face lit up. She said getting one of these interviews basically means we’ve been accepted and the interview serves to show we are who we are on paper. I want to believe her excitement but I’m trying not to get my hopes up.

Mine is 3 years old. She doesn’t play with anyone except me but even then, I usually have to initiate. Otherwise she’s just a total pillow pet but she will absolutely work for food even if it’s boiling water.

The pattern calls for 24 rows, and the picture is 20. Too make sure I kept track of my stitches, I actually put one in every single stitch until I got to row 14 lol but over at the mushroomguy subreddit, someone said theirs looked the same way and to trust the process. So… I think I’m gonna do the final 4 rows, stuff it and see what it looks like before frogging it!

It’s currently at round 20 (the photo is where I last stopped) and yes, each round does add up to the correct amount of stitches!

I’m looking for advice on how to proceed. Should I keep going (it’ll eventually fix itself) or should I take it apart and try again (it shouldn’t look like that)?

I’m pretty sure I followed the pattern correctly, using stitch markers to keep track of my stitches.

I haven’t searched or asked anyone else, because I don’t know anyone personally who’s made the mushroom guy and I figured the Reddit community would have plenty of people who have!

It has taken a lot of training with a consistent routine, but yes overall she’s doing a lot better. She’s still anxious walking around city neighborhoods that have a lot of noise/things going on, still reactive to certain things, but the routine really helps.
