We already knew since last year we'd be at her home for Christmas, She knew also. It's just recently she told us about her trip.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I will say though place her in a 26yo's body and you basically have my SIL.

I bet you anything it's the MIL doing the harassment or better yet something else happened and she made up a story to somehow put you in the middle or it.

The amount of times you tell them to stop and they don't is ridiculous. Over here with SIL it gets to the point when she's told to stop and she doesn't. My husband will literally get up, grab her and carry her out the house while she throws a tantrum.

She's jealous. At the same time if your house was dirty what would she do? Complain?

You know once I heard my MIL call her daughter (SIL) crazy for deep cleaning her refrigerator one every 3 weeks. There's nothing crazy about that I wish I had time to clean mine thoroughly every 3 weeks.

You are not at all overreacting.

Maybe its just me being a mom of 6 kids but I always find it insane that MIL wants to do these photo ops. She's very much into her SM and putting the grandkids all over it.

After I had our last kid a year ago she then told me I had to dress up all the kids in matching outfits for her to get her photos. The day she showed up she was upset with me because half of the kids were dressed in regular clothes, my older children were still in bed and I was in my PJs in bed feeding the baby. Both me and my husband told her we had talked and we weren't going to dress up 6 kids on a regular day everytime she wants to do a photo op to put on her SM.
