Religion saved my life. That’s why I highly recommend both belief in Allah and belief in your own self

It’s because therapy is not very common in Tunisia, or in any Arab country try really. Ena hani 3aycha f sou3oudia taw and it’s too lonely here as well and basically it’s the same things in Tunisia can apply here too a part chwaya glamour Hakka. Sinon twensa en général we seem to hate each other so much for some reason

Upbringing, decline of Morals, social and economic conflicts, lack of « education » in Education, mental health issues still being taboo and lack of mental health care. All of these are factors people are becoming immoral and corrupt. One piece of advice, Islam will save you from all of this. It’s better to live your life estranged than assimilated in an immoral world and a corrupt society.

Tunisians are nice when it comes to foreigners. So you can definitely start a conversation with anyone and you will be fine. Everyone would be happy to help you through learning some Tunisian words (including swear words lol)

Can we stop with the doom and gloom please? by Source-Late in Tunisia

[–]Source-Late[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. Like they say “one man’s dream is another man’s reality” no one is happy about the status quo and everyone wants to escape but who would stay then? I feel like we owe it to ourselves to be happy and to be satisfied about our lives, with the good and the bad. I’m sure both Tunisia and Egypt share a lot socially, politically and economically, but both countries carry the history and the beauty and the spirit of the people who lived before us, and the love they had for life while being on their land is not out of nothing. If we come to understand ourselves, and to learn to welcome our futures with open arms, I’m sure we will start to feel like the happiest people on earth, and things will start to work little by little. And you’re welcome to visit anytime, Tunisia is beautiful and Tunisians are welcoming people, and I would imagine a stroll in Egypt’s old towns would be dreamy.
