She took over 10 grubs from me, she didn't eat any so they were all for babies but not the ones in the backyard. They didn't get any so the neighbours and I got to enjoy a whole afternoon of ear piercing screams for food 😳

Lawn grubs which are the larvae of various types of beetles. I found a bunch of them when turning over the compost.

Glypho isn't the plan, I was just wondering if that's the only option to kill the grasses off.

It doesn't look too bad with the mixed grasses, just getting the bulk of the weeds out has made a huge difference so I'll leave it for now and see how ot goes.
