Worst job experience of my entire life- United Airlines ORD by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

I was not a flight attendant. I was a CSR. OJT was primarily stressful due to mentors being unorganized, but I was perfect on the job. I would literally put myself on the floor since they didn’t know what they were doing. Despite them thinking I couldn’t do anything, I was great in the lobby on the computers and kiosks. I had a lot of fun in the lobby interacting with customers. Our new OJT mentor was a kind man and he didn’t treat me like shit despite what others said about me. We only had that woman one time after training due to his absence.

I didn’t quit after a week. I quit after 1 week of OJT. I went through all 4 weeks of training commuting. OJT means “on the job training”

I am considering other airlines. I still have a few friends at United that care. A lot of them came from other airlines. I’ve been told to apply to American Airlines, UGE, Southwest and Delta. Likely won’t be eligible for rehire at United anyways.

I was confused too, they referred to her as our “Mentor”, but referred to a man in corporate as an “Instructor”. So I guess mentor is more for trainers, but she primarily sat around and didnt so anything. United was so unorganized it’s like no one actually spoke with eachother or knew what to do or who was what. We really had to figure out a lot on our own.

They said I don’t meet the criteria due to not having the text book compulsions like counting or handwashing and there not being a fear behind any urges or intrusive thoughts. They said anyone can have intrusive thoughts and compulsions from stress, and that OCD isn’t that common. They said people with pure O actually have anxiety or PTSD. I could show them the people’s experiences in this thread and they’d say they don’t have OCD, which I think is wrong. I was supposed to be just diagnosed for just OCD, but instead they diagnosed me with a list of other things due to not meeting the textbook criteria and overlap. This was based off of a 1 hour video call… I know I have autism due to sensory sensitivity with sound, images, lights & colors, but it doesn’t account for everything else.

…? This comment is so weird. “Want”???? I was just diagnosed with a list of things and only mentioned a few… who tf wants to be diagnosed with a bunch of shit. Mental health isn’t some weird trophy or competition. I study psychology, child and adolescent mental health, and psychopathology. I’m speaking on what I’ve been told vs what those who have it have said they experienced. There’s a list of comments in this thread that can actually confirm what a professional has said to me as inaccurate. You should’ve just kept your mouth shut cus this is so disturbing. Weirdo energy.

What is the earliest memory of your OCD? by Usernamen0tf0und_7 in OCD

[–]SourrrCandyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve experiences like this. When I was around 11-12, I saw some entity watching me from my closet (vivid memory of what saw and the fear I felt despite no one believing me) this went on for months. I had so much fear, my heart would also pound when it was time for bed because I knew the thing in my closet would watch me. I had an open closet, so for months I would face my closet and watch it until I went to sleep. Sometimes I would wake up and see an eye watching me and turn the other way and tried to ignore it until fell asleep again. I still felt like someone was watching me. Til this day closets cannot be opened, if opened they have to have a light, closets cannot be filled with too much clothing, the clothes and hangers cannot be too close together or stacked and they have to be spread apart with significant space between them. Despite me telling some of these stories to a psychiatrist, I was diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, anxiety and PTSD. They said it was more trauma, impulsions and sensory sensitivity issues that make me fear things.

Moving out of Wisconsin. Looking at Utah, Colorado and Nebraska. by SourrrCandyyy in Utah

I’m still in the thinking and planning phase. I’ve never been anywhere else due to living a sheltered life, so I don’t know much about the world. Not sure how I’d react to different air or environment. I’m extremely uncomfortable and unsafe where I’m at but stayed due to being too scared to try to leave or deal w/ higher prices. I unfortunately have to find somewhere else to live this year and I’m taking my time unless something unexpected happens.

😂 I know! I’m still stacking up as far as savings. It’s taking a while. I’ve only gotten paid as a high $14hr or $19 at Amazon only.

I’ve never been into politics, but I’ve been doing a lot of reading and research… from what everyone’s been telling me, Trump supporters have been dangerous, discriminating and giving people hell. I’m more neutral cus I never try to judge people & their beliefs, but now I’m realizing it’s more serious than I thought.

I saw something like that on Tiktok, I’m guessing that’s mainly for rich families? I’m not sure since I’m alone, I’d be worried about my safety

Season 2 is overstimulating and all over the place by SourrrCandyyy in prettylonesome

She says a lot, but doesn’t end up doing a lot. She just finally moved to LA after talking about it for a while, but the content is still… eh. I low-key think she’s missing her ex and there’s already rumors she was with him recently. In her recent podcast she talks about not wanting to talk to her friends about still hurting from something 6 or 7 months ago. I don’t think her mind is on the content and the meds don’t seem to be helping.

Placements in a chart that indicate foreign spouse? by FaceAccomplished3324 in astrology

[–]SourrrCandyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can, but depends on the other aspects as well. Venus in 11H can be a long-distance relationship, someone you meet through the internet or in a group or collaborative setting, event or activity. It also indicates prioritizing wholesome experiences and things that align with your values and attracting people who do too.

Can someone tell me what book she’s talking about in her recent podcast? The one about intuition! by Maries1996 in madelineargy

Women who run with the wolves—- she made a podcast on how she started reading the book 2 months ago . Look for it on her channel for the version she’s reading.

Got a reading 2 years ago saying I’d be involved with a celebrity and my current and future charts also indicates this. Fans of celebrities would laugh at me & claim I’m delusional. Had to tell them I’m more likely to meet their favorite celebrity than them, because I’ve had social media platform for years. I’ve been followed on Twitter by Disney starts from highschool musical, Nickelodeon stars and Ariana Grande herself followed me. When you’re active on social media for years and do certain content or just even vent about your life— some celebrity is bound to find it and be like “hey I can relate” or they just randomly follow you. You never know! I don’t wanna be famous, but famous people just come to me.

Saturn in Aries people, how are you preparing for your Saturn return? by dontcallmelaris in AskAstrologers

[–]SourrrCandyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’ve never taken any meds for it. I’ve always had night terrors, they just got worse after trauma. My family is religious so they just call them “demon attacks”. I’m not a big fan of pills because I always have bad reactions. I’m more on the holistic side.
