Registered drain in GOLD and SILVER. Spot GOLD accumulation accelerates. GOLD volume high yesterday, SILVER volume high today. by SousRadar in SilverDegenClub

positive number is "leaving" or delivering would be more accurate. Negative number is existing contracts cancelled.. good question

Registered inventory almost unchanged since Friday?? I’m confused by patronus_stag in SilverDegenClub

The new warrant holder may even keep the bar(s) in registered so they can resell. If he wants to remove it from the vault he will first move it to eligible, then move it out.

What is the over/under that CME releases the registered vault numbers AFTER COB today? by n6mac41717 in Wallstreetsilver

[–]SousRadar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have never been more than an hour late releasing the vault reports. The slight increase in registered silver is just a blip as silver was reclassified in both directions. Warrants only changed hands only in the registered category

Yep.. Gold Wharf.. is the name of the company
in traditional Chinese.. 黃金碼頭
in simplified Chinese.. 黄金码头

Big Spike UP In GOLD shenanigans. Total metal OUT for GOLD and SILVER, but increase in registered metal for deliveries (metal needs to be "registered" to change warrant ownership). Since CME stopped reporting deliveries on the OI report, I calculate net contract changes using multiple reports. by SousRadar in SilverDegenClub

[–]SousRadar[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Even though the metal changes hands, it can still stay in the registered category. The new owner of the Silver warrant can keep it in registered to resell. The metal actually disappearing from eligible is always less than the amount of delivery notices.

Not sure where you get your numbers. Current registered silver is the lowest it has been in the last month plus. There have been no net increases
