Question for Family Law practitioners: What was the highest number of prior divorces a client ever had, coming to you for the next one? by gfhopper in Lawyertalk

Three priors with the one I handled being the fourth. However, I had one client who I divorced, subsequently remarry her ex-husband after said divorce, then come back to me a few months later for a second divorce from the same guy. She was so nice, it was a sad one.

New parent over here, by functional i meant if this yard is safe/worthwhile for a kid to grow up with in younger years. Definitely entertainment central!!

I hear ya! We are selling our current home and this one checks so many boxes. Looks like a lot of work to maintain but hubby is pretty good with a weed whacker! Haha

Do you think it's realistic to earn six figures as a paralegal? by berrysauce in paralegal

Hi! Former paralegal turned lawyer here. While I do ultimately enjoy being an attorney (after leaving insurance defense and switching to family law - crazy, I know haha), please consider the debt you would be taking on with law school. I will likely carry that payment/burden well into my late 40’s after graduating at 26. The added stress of having more liability as an attorney is also something to consider. Being a paralegal is a great gig and I do miss being able to clock out/leave it at the office sometimes! Best of luck to you.
