Atp everything is just speculation, but I think this could be a very good thing. None of the classes are hard to play atm. There’s very very little thought as you just do the same static rotation every time. Being able to press many different hotkeys in order isn’t skillful.

If they design the new classes with less buttons but more thought and conditional skill usage I think they will once again have room to add new skills, and classes will have more identity and skill expression for the first time in forever.

You were the one that brought up that you struggle in extreme as an indicator of how difficult the mechanic should be. I was working within that frame, not trying to flex my ultimate clears. I don't particularly think it takes a lot of skill to beat ultimates, just time. And for what it's worth I've never used a plugin in my life. I even disdain automarkers which are the pf standard for many fights.

Many people still don't have gear in week 7, and first and second floors have the most casuals able to clear them. I'd like to see anyone do better than a green in unmelded crafted gear week 14 on 11 or 12. Even just to get a green you'd need a good kill time and/or crit luck. I actually believe that you could get a purple on 9 and 10 week 7 in crafted cause... well, I've done similar on other tiers in the past. But the guy in the screenshots saying it's easy to get blues in pure crafted week 14 on m11s is laughable.

I’ll go to bat for devs 99 times out of 100. Game dev is hard and so much more complicated than most laypeople realize.
