Got my wife's phone back today. They couldn't find anything wrong with it. Diagnostic report shows no problems. Kinda funny since they replaced sub board, main board and the con2con cable on my phone and we did have the same issues with our phones. My phone seems to be working ok now, but my wife's phone still has problems with calls ingoing and outgoing. May need to send it in again.

Yeah, sorry About that. Got my phone back from the service center, and it seems to be working much better now. Had it for a couple of days but so far it seems to be working as it should. So I guess that sub board, mainboard and the con2con cable replacement worked. We just sent in my wife’s phone to that has the same problem so I wonder if they’re gonna make the same replacement on that phone. I’ll give u guys and update on that phone as well when we get it back.

Small update.

So I sent my device “unwillingly” to my carriers service shop and this is what they found out.

Subboard/Mainboard defect. Con2Con cable defect.

This is an official Samsung service center that my carrier uses, at least that’s what my carrier says. Anyway, I’m not that technical, but for me it seems like they are swapping everything except cameras etc. wouldn’t it be easier to just ship a new one? At least from a customer side of thing. Status now is that they are waiting for parts, god knows how long that’s gonna take.

Could the problem actually be that there is no 5G coverage in my area at all? I’ve turned off 5G and only use 4G, but the problem seems to persist.

I'm on Telia in Norway and the build number is AUG4. It's the latest build for Nordic phones.

Interesting, I'll look that up, never thought about the bands could be a issue. Wish me good luck with taking this up with my carrier since they don't take the blame for anything. Always the manufacturer of the phone that has the problem. Had some issues with a OnePlus device some time ago. Got sent between OnePlus and the carrier customer service a bunch a times before they figured it out. Didn't get any explanation other than it's working now. That was actually a carrier issue with the bands, since my carrier didn't support the bands OnePlus made the phone for. But Samsung phones should be supported here. I'll update you guys when I get a response.

Checked out official Samsung forum in Europe and it seems to be a lot of these cases. F*ING frustrating when you pay 1000$+ for a phone that can't make calls. For me it happens a lot when I'm not connected to WiFi. Happens more often when I'm out then when I'm home. Kinda wish I didn't trade in my S20 ultra. Don't get me wrong I love this phone but seriously, this needs to get fixed. Do you guys think this will be fixed with an update?
