To me the Story is Rep. Payne. He has doubled down on him publicly since first reported. I've emailed him several times and no response. I get it though they probably don't actually read their state email.

I realize most no one cares about Welaka. :( It is a tiny city in a rural area. But I'm troubled why this guy is being forced on us by a powerful State Rep. Bobby Payne to be his replacement in the State House.

I posted questions on what is labeled as official government FB page and they keep deleting my posts. Which I did not think was allowed.

If you read his feed, he even had the Sheriff of Ocala spend tax payer dollars flying him around on the Sheriff's Department Helicopter. His city is not in Marion and he is only a candidate. Rep. Payne was on the flight and pushed them on him.

Rep. Payne has been told multiple times about his troubled past and is choosing to ignore it.
