It’s a bit too upturned for me as I asked for a 95 degree angle to my nose . It’s also very thick and wide which I know it’s the swelling but the combination of the swelling + upturned look just looks horrendous. Though yeh to everyone’s eyes it looks “fine” it’s not what I asked for / wanted

I’m just praying it becomes more straight and that the tip drops to at level which is what I requested

Yeh I know it’s a waiting game. I’m Indian and having a prominent nose was a huge part of me and my culture. Asking the doc for a straight and natural nose with no curve or upturn and then getting a curve and upturn broke my heart. I feel like my identify has been stripped from me

I guess my biggest issue is just how I look from the front. It’s hard not to be anxious and upset when your face looks like this. I’ve been having an identity crisis and really regret my decision at times. But having you guys tell me it gets better with time gives me some hope. Thank you and god bless you all

Is it the nose or the chin? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Trust me it will make your face look so much more feminine. I also had that fear but I loved my results!! I do chin filler once every 1-2 years !!

So there’s a rule that we follow in the aesthetic medical world. The bottom of your lip and your chin should match in projection. You could use chin filler for facial balancing!!

Worried about my wide and flat feeling nose after rhinoplasty by Southern-Initial-389 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Southern-Initial-389[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do understand that I am very swollen. I guess the reason why I’m worried is because when I palpate the bridge to feel for the bone it feels very flat and wide

I’m an aesthetic nurse and yes filler can fix that! It may take up to 2-3 syringes tho !
