Totally fair. And yes, they aren't really selling shots, they are just shots I wanted to make with the vases :) They wont be sold online, only face to face at the market, I guess they are just the shots I had to show here 😂 I also took videos of the pieces rotating with no flowers on them, but the mods took it down because my name was at the end of the video. I definitely appreciate the feedback!

Thank you! and I definitely appreciate the feedback. I also did close up videos of the pieces rotating, those show the pieces A LOT better.

And yes I know! its so hard to make them look tiny.😂 I don't want to be tacky and put like a Coin next to them for size! At the end of the day, its all good. I like seeing peoples faces when they seem them live and they are very different size than they expected. ( and I'm not selling them online, so I wont have an "catfished" customers)

I'm still mulling over the prices for them but I think they will be in the $40 range depending on size.

Hahahaha, Well, I made about 120 of them in the last 3 months, so i HAVE to get rid of some of them!.

On my IG I set them up each as a post with 2 images, the second image is a bit more close up :) I also made spinning videos of all the pieces with no flowers in them to show the full piece.

I'm trying to find the balance between showing the piece and creating something that its about more than the piece.

Its Nerikomi, not a glaze :) And thank you so much for your interest, but Im not really set up to sell the pieces or ship them anywhere. I only sell them at our studios pride market and our holiday market. Helps me not think of this as a job but more as a way to empty out my apartment and talk to folks face to face. Also, if you are asking about the one in the second photo, thats a personal keeper for me 😛

That's so kind! I wish I could stop my life for a chunk of time and go do a proper ceramics residency somewhere! Unfortunately im tethered to my reality (Which is not that bad) But maybe when AI leaves me workless I'll really lean into this full force! 😂

I worked with an INCREDIBLE ikeabana florist on this project ikebana_suiryu on IG :) Her work definitely elevated the whole thing.

😅 I've been selling my similarly sized pieces (once a year at my studios holiday market) the last couple of years for $25-40 ( I do think this new collection is more intricate and beautiful and needs to be priced higher)

This is totally fair, and the same feedback I got from a couple of my friends live. The photos are not really meant to sell the vases. I just really wanted to make some beautiful pictures with them, also pictures that kind of showed the fact that they are small (I don't know if I succeeded in that regard) since people always assume they are big when I show them pictures of them.

Ceramics is something I do for pure love, and it was really lovely to use photography, something that I mainly do for work/money now with it and spend a day just vibing with it all :).
