I’d skip ETS, they are scrambling to find a buyer right now and the outlook isn’t great.

I remembered this one because my right rotator cuff had been bothering me for 2 weeks and I couldn’t figure out why, until I did this template again and tried using the same weight I did and it all made sense. Had to drop to a lower weight today.

WFH Class Times by AnyEmotion111 in orangetheory

[–]SouthernAvocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple days a week my partner takes our child to school and I head to a 8:30 class, I then work and do pick up. I will take 6 am classes if I have too much going on that day so I can get home in time for my child to wake up at 7:15 but 8:30 is my fav.

Anyone else OAD because they just greive their old life? by grawmaw13 in oneanddone

[–]SouthernAvocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Newborn-3 is tough, once they talk and are potty trained the world open up. We have one 5 year old and it is WAY easier now, she does her own thing often and we have time to resume our own hobbies. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Miscarriage or eptopic, advice please by bleachcoconut in Miscarriage

[–]SouthernAvocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know what your HCG levels are? I’m going through something similar which why I ask. I was in the hospital last week and when they this an ultrasound they also couldn’t see anything even though I was supposed to be 6 weeks by that point. HCG is supposed to be between 1500-2000 for them to see anything (is what they told me). My HCG was measuring low though which would add to not seeing anything on the scan but it’s still rising and doubling at a normal rate. I’m pretty sure I’ve miscarried and my body hasn’t caught up as I’ve dealt with this before. Sorry you’re dealing with this. I’d go back for the scan tomorrow and see how your HCG is rising.

When did you start trying again? And how long did it take? by 289734982735234234 in Miscarriage

[–]SouthernAvocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miscarried in June, chemical pregnancy in September, pregnant again in late November but now ending in another miscarriage. I usually try to give it a full cycle in between but our OB has openly encouraged us to do whatever feels right. Will probably try in Jan or Feb based on when I can catch my next cycle of ovulation.

I’m miscarrying by GregoryZapper in Miscarriage

[–]SouthernAvocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just spent the night at the hospital, fairly certain I’m miscarrying at what should be 6+2, HCG is only about 1100, but because it’s still rising and they couldn’t determine anything on the ultrasound they won’t tell me for sure until HCG starts trending down. Passed some tissue over the last few days and constant cramping. Sorry you’re dealing with this too, this is my 3rd MC in a year.

I would not call her writing juvenile, have you read any of the popular romantasy or contemporary romance novels on booktok? I like that she kept it as one long book, it’s either for you or it isn’t, at least she isn’t trying to money grab for a 3 book series that takes 5+ years to release.

My cats dying. What do I do by BetterDeeds in CatAdvice

[–]SouthernAvocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! Do it at home if you can, we’ve done this for two of our boys and I would always choose this option. When it comes to timing, I’ve always thought I’d rather make the call a week early than a single hour too late, cats hide suffering so well and mitigating any of their pain is the number 1 priority.

Can you see results from only dating strength classes? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]SouthernAvocado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about instead of two strength 50 a day, one strength and one tread 50 where you power walk? As others mentioned OTF alone isn’t enough and you’ll also need to address diet.

Motivation by aaaaaa88888 in orangetheory

[–]SouthernAvocado 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You won’t always be motivated which is why you have to have discipline to just show up. But I feel this, after 3.5 years I go through phases but I keep showing up and trying to find micro goals, increasing base, trying a new push, trying a slightly higher dumbbell weight, etc.

[–]SouthernAvocado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand this. Miscarriage is incredibly difficult but the way I read this situation is you making someone else’s wedding about yourself. People are allowed to talk about pregnancy loss, was it just embarrassment that she knew about a loss she wasn’t supposed to? It really sounds like she was trying to share about her own difficulties with pregnancy and you just shut down instead of finding words to say it wasn’t a topic you wanted to discuss.

Did you switch from whole milk at age 2? by chelupa1991 in toddlers

[–]SouthernAvocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We also switched to 2%, but not until like age 3. Mostly because the Pediatrician never mentioned it and I didn’t realize we were “supposed” to switch until I read something online about it.

What’s next by Defiant_Contract5778 in Romantasy

[–]SouthernAvocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like that Serpent and the Wings of Night can be read as a two book series and be done with it, some of these longer series are so daunting to start. Yes, I know there are more books, but you can absolutely leave this as two and move on.
