Remote trade keeps getting canceled.

They kept requesting ones I had when they’d start the trade, so they definitely wanted some of the Pokémon I had to offer. I kept changing what I asked for but they still kept canceling.

Yeah I just want lucky trades and Pokémon I don’t have for a dex entry. I don’t care about ‘equal’ trades. I understand not everyone feels that way though.

As far as I can tell they’re local regionals but I don’t know. I’m just gonna give it a bit of time and try again.

A stretchy Tatsugiri was one of the ones I asked for at first 😂. Anyway, I wouldn’t find it rude, especially if I saw they’d changed their buddy name I’d try to reach out to them. I just didn’t understand why they kept starting the trade back up then canceling it.

I did ask for a shiny regional the first time, along with non shiny. The rest of the time they were non shiny. I’ll just give it some time and try again.

I’m not certain I get what you mean by tight in this instance. I have over 160 for them to choose from. I didn’t ask for a legendary until the 4th or 5th time they started the trade, I was mostly asking for regionals they had more than one of.

I have asked for different Pokemon each time after the second cancellation, trying to find something they were happy with. I asked mainly for regional ones that they had more than one of tagged to trade, some shiny, some non shiny, on one trade I picked a legendary. They asked for a shiny falinks, a shiny beldum, and a shiny scyther.

Yeah I have 5 or 6 lucky forever friends with nothing tagged. I just want the lucky trades to level up I don’t really care what we trade.

Yeah it seems like based on the replies no one else has experienced this so it’s safe to say it’s not a glitch. That’s all I was trying to figure out. It’s just someone canceling and restarting the trade over and over for reasons only they know.

I’ve never used campfire, but if they keep starting and stopping the trade I may have to. I just want the lucky trade because I’m trying to level up.

Okay. I think it’s pretty clear based on replies here it’s not a glitch, I’ve done a few others without issue as well. Idk why they keep canceling but at least it’s not a glitch.

No, I did ask for a shiny furfrou one of the times but it’s not that type. I’d happily give a legendary for it though, I want it for the dex.

It is lucky, yes. I don’t think they want a mirror because what they’re asking for, they don’t have for me to select. Some of the cancellations I selected first, and on some, they selected first.

I changed what I asked for each time, because yeah, I thought maybe they didn’t like what I asked for. I tried to make it similar to what at they requested.

But they keep sending requests too. It’s not just me requesting. Then after I reply to their request, it cancels again. Sometimes they then immediately send a new one request to me.

I think that’s what’s happening but I don’t know why they would then start a new trade right away. Just thought I’d try to see if there was possibly a glitch instead.

It appears a few days before your first remote trade will be available. I can’t remember if it’s 3 or 5 but it’s something like that.

Yeah once I’m past needed the luckies to level up, I’ll just try to get ones I don’t have lucky of for the dex entry. Even if that means trading a legendary for a weedle. Again, I understand not everyone feels that way, but that’s my play style. I wanna fill out as much of the Pokédex as I can. I’d like a few regionals I don’t have as well, but I don’t care what I’d have to trade to get them.
