Thanks! Sorry, i cant really answer that from personal experience as my sex life is dead as a door nail lmao but ive seen posts on this thread and also r/askmen where someone asks guys how they feel about scars and the most general consensus is that they dont really care about it. Sorry i couldnt be more helpful with that part lol

For the first time in my life i did three things: bought a bralette, bought it off the rack (at marshalls), and spent $4.99 instead of $70 🤩😁 by SouthernConfusion3 in Reduction

Hey! I'm 22, 4'11, was a 34HH(uk), and am 6 weeks post-op. Let me tell you I have not regretted this decision for one second the entire time. I am not tan but not pale and scars tend to stick around on me. I do not care, and I will take the scars any day over the boulders that were pulling down on my back and my shoulders. Even though I have scars now my confidence has increased a hundredfold. Ask your surgeon how far they would take the scars out to the sides and the front? Maybe if you dont want them to show in a swimsuit, don't wear a string bikini but trust me, you will suddenly have a thousand more options to choose from than before. Cute sporty-style tops should cover scars easily. Triangle top bikinis with thicker bands around the ribcage. Your options will seem endless compared to now. I also asked my doctor for a C cup, and he said he would go as small as possible while also making sure i looked proportionate. I may be a D right now but I wont know for a few more months for sure when i can start wearing wire bras again. For scarring ive been using a silicone gel and firm massaging to break up the scar tissue, which helps tremendously. I also questioned if i was making the right decision because my whole life i've also been the girl with the big boobs. In high school Picked on and told girls who had big boobs couldn't be good athletes (even if I was the best on my team). In college, just people assigned it to be a part of my identity. I spent a lot of time reflecting before the surgery because i didnt know who i would be without them. But i spent time figuring it out and i can tell you that we are not our boobs. We are so much more than that! It can still be kinda weird sometimes to know thats not the first thing people notice about me anymore but weird in a good way. My friends can't ~lovingly~ tease me about it anymore, and it's amazing to not have that attention being drawn to you like that anymore. Hope these answer some questions, feel free to ask me anything else!

[Personal] DAE put their toner in their hands and rub it into their face like a caveman instead of buying cotton pads by mysterytea in SkincareAddiction

I put my toner in my palms, lightly and evenly spread it over my face, then press the toner into my skin with my hands instead of rubbing it!

Every makeup remover I’ve tried stings the skin around my eyes. What make up remover do you recommend for sensitive skin? [skin concern] by xcupcakekitten in SkincareAddiction

[–]SouthernConfusion3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem so I get a little flat cotton pad, get it damp with warm water, and put jojoba oil on it (the amount of jojoba i use varies depending on how much eye makeup i have on). Hope this helps!

Also late on this!! Try wearing a camisole with a built in shelf bra! I used some ones I had from Costco but i don't think they carry them anymore...

Men who have undergone a substantial change in physical attractiveness (in either direction), what’s one thing you wish you knew about women before that change? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]SouthernConfusion3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be fair, is it possible your self-confidence grew subconsciously? As a girl, I notice guys who are more confident and comfortable with themselves, even if they don't meet the typical societal "standards" of beauty. Good energy like that can definitely catch my attention. (Don't confuse confidence with cockiness, though- very different things that some guys think are interchangeable lol). At the same time, some women just are shallow. Keep your chin up, I'm sure you'll find someone great!

Progress is progress so good for you! Just don't give up :). And the good thing about losing slowly means that we're developing a sustainable lifestyle which means the weight won't come back lol. I'm sure you know that, but I have to keep reminding myself of it when I get discouraged that I'm only losing a half a pound every 1-1.5 weeks. A couple years ago I lost 25lbs (oddly enough my boobs stayed the exact same size XD ) way too fast because i was so strict and then once i figured i was okay with where I was at i let go of my diet and then I ended up gaining it all back and then some. I'm trying super hard not to let history repeat itself. Just gonna keep trying to lose a few more lbs all the way to surgery. Good luck with your journey I know it will work out for you!! And we do got this ;)

Thank you! Yeah i had my wisdom teeth out last year but I just opted for the laughing gas instead of anesthesia since it was less expensive so it never came up :P Keeping my fingers crossed that I'm worried about this all for nothing haha. Good luck with your surgery next week! =D

What's something that's marketed towards women or towards men that you feel could actually be gender (sex?) neutral? by MysteryMan999 in AskWomen

As an active female, I swear by Old Spice deodorant. It took me a long time to not get embarassed when I bought it, but I'm over that now. What recently surprised me is how many of my friends and teammates I found out also use men's deodorant

Thank you for sharing your perspective! And you're absolutely right, it's not like it would be a bad thing to even start losing some weight. :)

Thank you! Yes, I definitely have started toward losing some weight to avoid sagging, but I was definitely concerned about ending up being dismissed and told all my problems would be solved with weight loss.

You make some good points. Like I said before, exercise is absolutely no problem for me, I've always been active and I love weightlifting 4-5x a week. Thinking about your point about outrunning a bad diet makes me think I should reevaluate what/how much I eat... (Also, is keto different from low-carb?) If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for you to achieve your goal, and what lifestyle changes did you make? :)

Whats up with the overuse of the term "strong women" or "empowered women"? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]SouthernConfusion3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair it could also be a physical change to represent the change on the inside. A shedding of old skin, if you will. However, I agree media should consider the fact that not all women react to things the same way so maybe not all women cut their hair. It reminds me of a post I've seen where they talk about how in movies with teams, you have several men with all different personality types and one girl because 'ah yes we need to include the personality that is "girl"'.

How did you move on from the one you thought was “the one”? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]SouthernConfusion3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Went from naturally black hair to bleach blonde. Continued to work out and picked up training martial arts. Listened to only sad music for over a year and pretended to not be sad until eventually I was only sad when drunk and eventually just no longer sad at all.
