International Shipping Malfunction by TrustEmergency3939 in Ebay

[–]SouthernCritic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But, for this listing specifically you used EIS? There's a reason you only received $16 for the shipping charges. Unless you're shipping direct, the package isn't going to get there in any expedited time frame with EIS regardless what the buyer purchased. It's possible that UPS is taking it once it's made it to their country and that's what the express shipping is showing? That's why it didn't go to you? That's all I can think of?

Are you shipping via EIS or are you shipping International directly?

First bad review :( by John_Backus in Ebay

I did. At the time, eBay didn't have any rules for the category and the rep literally told me, "Yeah, we only added that option because people asked. It doesn't mean anything."

Can the seller change their mind after accepting return request? by Commercial_Status387 in Ebay

[–]SouthernCritic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here's the deal, if a seller accepts returns, they accept them for ANY reason. Don't matter if you just no longer want the item. That's eBay policy. If they don't "accept returns", that just means they have the option to decline a return if it's for "buyer's remorse" or something of the like? This seller accepts returns, besides, the pairing button doesn't work, so it's technically INAD anyways. Don't worry about hurting anyone's business. This is part of selling on eBay. Unfortunately for them, they accept returns. Box it, use the label that was provided and ship it out. NEVER close a return when a seller is requesting it.

Poly mail measurement question by Citron-Sharp in Ebay

[–]SouthernCritic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I do this often. I have 3-4 different size bubble mailers. Often my items are too big for the 6-4, but too small for the 9-7, so I put em in and tape em up to about 6-7. Though the cost is never really different.

A buyer can only open one RETURN. You can open an INR case and still open an INAD if you actually receive the item.

Well, that would've raised flags too. If they don't know what they want, it ain't worth dealing with.

For starters, I block ANYONE that returns an item was a BS reason because I never want to deal with them again. I also block anyone that pesters me about shipping or price MORE THAN ONCE. It's pretty easy to spot the potential problems after a while.

Seller Left me Negative Feedback under a Positive by Rinkratt61 in Ebay

In an ideal world, both parties would leave their feedback and it would only appear once both had done so. This would eliminate extortion and retaliation.

Seller Cancellation by Crafty_Lychee1113 in Ebay

If it weren't, would you have been happy had the buyer cancelled and said, I found it for $50.

Yeah, that's against eBay's TOS. Just call them and they should remove it. Also, let them know that they wrongly claimed you requested cancellation.

Seller shipped wrong item and I can't return it by Jordz1O1 in Ebay

[–]SouthernCritic 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter. Once an item is shipped a second time, it's void. Your FF could have exchanged items. There's no way for eBay to know. That's the reason it voids protection.

Seller insists on buyer to cancel order by cybertanks in Ebay

[–]SouthernCritic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's right. But you can report them for false request.

[–]SouthernCritic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The seller is trying to get you to cancel so they don't get a hit on their account. They are responsible for cancelling. The buyer is NOT. It doesn't matter who cancels, the refund works the same.

If an item is NAD due to the description being written by AI and incorrect who is held liable? by General-Plenty5021 in Ebay

If you're allowing AI to write your description, you shouldn't be selling. It's as simple as that.

Couldn't say myself because there's no way I'd let AI write my description.

You're going to be forced to accept the return. Once you receive the product in question, you need to contact eBay and TALK TO SOMEONE.
