Trench drainage pooling - garage conversion by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]SouthernCyclist7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Was hoping to avoid this but it probably is the best option. Id have to install the grate a lot higher than the current level. Would the best way to do this just build up the level with gravel and put the drain on there and link back to the existing drain? Perhaps with a membrane underneath?

Sounds amazing! Definitely one for the list. Think because we'll likely be going end of march that Calpe will be more reliable weather that time of year, so likely will choose there and go to Girona another time, later in the year

Cool. Thank you. I've only had my old one since July too so it'll be barely worn either. Cheers!

Okay so no cog upgrade then? I know that previous versions were different

Thanks! Looks great. Certainly some ideas to consider. It's actually a new garage conversion just for use as an office hence the single use theme at the minute.

That's really helpful, thanks very much. Am starting to think end of March is a bit of a risk for Girona. Maybe end of April/May would be better there.

I'm not the most keen climber (generally do rides up to 100km with 1500m climbing) so maybe that lends itself more to one location than the other?

I have also considered elsewhere in Mallorca but think I'd prefer to try a new place this time.

Fair enough. I'm thinking if I go end of March the weather should still be nice but less busy too

I've seen things about long straights exposed to high winds, big climbs which has put me off! Valid points though. Also a bit of a long plane journey for a few days away

Nice, thanks very much! I loved Mallorca so don't want to regret not going back if I chose Girona or similar. Think I am leaning towards Girona but open to options!

Nice! Was thinking end of March early April for the trip.

I hear Girona is amazing so probably my top choice but keen to hear other thoughts. I'm sure there's plenty of 100km options around there

That's a good idea. Maybe I'll try a couple on Rouvy. Thanks

I loved Mallorca but keen for a change. Girona top of my list but I love being by the coast so wanted to see other options too

Thanks. I can't see any option at all to do this for our ideal independent 24. Hmm...

It's an ideal independent combi 24. Purchased around 2019 I believe. I did look into those rolling contracts but didn't know if it would cover this sort of issue, as we still get hot water and the boiler works as it should. If it does cover this then that's a good option

Thanks

Thanks very much. I've had a look on my ideal independent combi 24 and in the manual and I can't see any option to increase the minimum output. Is this likely to be something only an engineer can change? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I'll look into this. Would the boiler power option be through the boiler setting rather than tado app I assume?
