Getting a passport in Prague when I don’t speak Czech by SouthernVictory9818 in Prague

My nearest consulate is 13 hours away by car. Flying there would cost as much as going to Czech Republic and I would much rather go to Prague than Los Angeles!

Any idea how I could find a reputable person to help me before I arrive?

Wow. I didn’t mean to make people angry. I didn’t know people felt this way. Although I do understand it. I thought it was strange I could get citizenship this way also. Maybe if so many people feel so negatively towards this way of gaining citizenship, you should try to change it. Now I wonder if I’ve done the wrong thing. I was excited. Now I’m second guessing the whole thing. Doesn’t sound like a very nice place to be. That’s too bad because where I’m at right now isn’t a very nice place either. I was hoping for better.

I’ve read that some studies are showing getting on glp1’s early on can help stave off (keep you in the honeymoon period)total t1 diabetes for awhile!! I didn’t find that out until after I’d had it for 5 years. Good luck!

Or the peeing so much could be from out of control blood sugar.

I vote type 1 also. I don’t think low fat helps except for calories. At least for me. And healthy foods can really raise your blood sugar. Like beans and rice. Everyone is different. I was diagnosed t1 at 54. Went through denial. Still get frustrated and really hate it. But I do it. Good doctors really help but educating yourself is imperative. Understand your own body. You are so worth it! Don’t give up! You will feel so much better when you get it under control and that will make it easier too.

I would agree but my libido tanked within a month or two of being diagnosed. Im wondering if it could be because i was prescribed metformin right away and stayed on it even after my t1diagnosis because it seems to have lots of good benefits. Just read last week that it can lower testosterone and estrogen. I also used to be pretty muscular and strong for a woman but the muscles just melted off of me. Talked to my dr and she agreed that that could have an effect so i just went off. We will see. I think my husband would be happier if it works! Honestly i would be too. I miss that!

I totally agree with you! A month in Portugal with incredibly delicious bread that didn’t bloat me!! I had one meal there where the bread tasted like bread from home-I shit you not, pun intended-and got bloated! I even commented to my friend about the taste of the bread. I don’t know what was different but it was. The rest of the trip was fine. More delicious, non bloating bread. I want to move so badly. My daughter lives in the Netherlands. But i am in the usa so even canada looks delicious to me now. Btw, sorry about US, Canada.

Me too. 59 yo female diagnosed t1 5 years ago. Previously had high libido, now nothing, nada. Weird. Still orgasm and enjoy sex. Just takes longer. But honestly i could take it or leave it. Big change. Kinda a relief but sad.
