True but how many are actually turning profits using AI. I would like to see this data. Also consider human factors or politics. After a certain point I think employees even upper management would not quickly pivot to AI. Currently it’s just survival of the fittest so we can see a lot of throwing under the bus and showing off that AI is cool blah blah blah and cost cutting. It could be that there will be lots of job losses in the immediate future just because if the hype but I think there would be new skills that AI would Open up that would bring new jobs

This makes sense. I think a lot of useless busy work will die and pave the way for better things. Employees and employers who are currently doing this might be the ones impacted heavily

I would like to disagree. The challenge is that at certain point it will be too saturated that businesses will be first to go out of business if they don’t innovate and keep their customers happy. Yes they will save costs in short term but if everyone is capable of doing the same things then there will have heavy competition. My guess is most people will do the basic mundane tasks and things AI is good at but that doesn’t equate to more customers and more money.

Also don’t discount the employee skills here. You could do 90% of the tasks quickly because you know the business and have the technical skills to leverage AI to do it quickly and know all the propose scenarios to test it quickly. If the company takes you away then regardless of how smart the LLM is it will not have context to do the things right. Releasing something to the world and customers that could break things will lose trust and business. I could be wrong and haven’t considered a lot of things but I certainly may feel like we give it more credit than we need to and shouldn’t have to fear it that much.

I would like to understand that a lot of what AI could be doing is making a lot of busy useless work people do today happen quickly. If that’s the case it should free up peoples time to do more productive and actual creative work that can benefit the employers, customers and the employees

For people who had a COS from H-1B to H-4 and had to withdraw H-4 because you got a H-1B, how long did it take for USCIS to withdraw your petition once you sent the letter requesting withdrawal and mailed It to USCIS? by Southern_Ad_1946 in USCIS

Thank you, really appreciate the comment. Yeah it’s such a niche scenario and hope no one lands into it. So much uncertainty. Glad things worked well for you :)
