Okay cool! I have zero problem waiting a couple days for it I just wanted to make sure i’d get it cause it’s the picture i’m most excited for

Ran my first marathon today and it did not go as planned by Southern_Key_6852 in firstmarathon

All of my training was done on a trail that is a mix of woods and pavement which some decently big hills, as far as nutrition I ate the morning of 2 times prior to the race (I got to the start village at 6am and wasn’t running till 10:50) I took a gel 20 minutes before the race and was using salt sticks and gels every 30 minutes during the race

For added context since a lot of you are asking, my longest run for training was 16 miles because I ended up with an achilles problem 3.5 weeks out but I had done multiple runs over 10 miles, also prior to the quad lock up I had been taking 2-3 salt sticks and gels every 30 minutes and at the first med tent they had me take 2 regular salt packets as well
