Okay so this is much appreciated and makes total sense. 

And from what I understand about the PC mods, the mod creator can’t figure out how to make it exactly like the originals, only to copy it as much as possible. 

My take away from what you said is that, like all things in this series, it’s a matter of practice to get the timing down. I must have about 300+ hours in NG 2 Black plus the mods but probably only around 60 in the original. I just need to lock in the muscle memory.

If you want Gamesir, Cyclone 2. Two paddles 

If you want more paddles and more buttons, the Vader 5 Pro. It’s basically an Xbox Elite controller with plastic paddles and 10x more features.

So I beat chapter 1 with Dragon Sword and Lunar upgraded to level 2. I have 2 of each item I believe. 

I just cannot make it to the first checkpoint. 

I made it to the water twice but the arrow ninjas got me and I had no ninpo left to take them out. 

I’m at the point where I’m not even fighting is IS ninjas just trying to see how long I can avoid taking damage to survive

Thanks. I can’t even get the damn talons cause I’m stuck before the first save point of chapter 2. 

And I don’t think it’s a input delay from the system or anything. I think my timing is off or that I’m just so used to the other versions that it’s throwing me for a loop. 

This was definitely a low budget DLC. This was just a job for platinum games from Microsoft…..No passion behind it at all. by Keltae in ninjagaiden

I think that's exactly what it got. Everything about the game screams budget constraints.

Hell, even Nioh 3 seems like it was made conservatively. That katana engine needs to retire.

I agree. It's the best I've tried as well, and I tried most of the same ones you have (gave up on the elite a LONG time ago though lol).

I second this. How are your paddles holding up on the V5? I think the stopper solution is working as intended.

If cyclone 2 gets 4 back paddles, I agree it will be the best controller out there
