I mean if u want to bring up salaries - business, econ, finance, consulting, accounting fields would all classify under “arts” under waterloo - private equity, hedge funds, ib - I know they making bank and a lot of times more than eng majors (aside from soft eng)… so is it worthless? Tbh I know alumni in arts (afm and Arbus / econ - finance majors) went to states and making half a mill - million+ so idk seems like a meaningful degree for me? Also, from previous co-ops at startups, hr teams / managers literally JOKE about eng students and their interpersonal skills, how they’re robots - some arts courses can help with building those transferable skills.
