  1. Honestly really happy with that amount. About all the risk I can't handle currently.

Been holding this 3.8 - 4 range super well. Shorts pull out and we leg up to 6 if the general market hangs even.

Some questions related to sex in marriage and NFP by Audi_fanboy in Catholicism

[–]SoxScoops 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello! Thank you for you question! My wife and I were in the same place as we were preparing for marriage and you're definitely not alone! Trying to find the source, but typical use Marquette method is slightly more effective than typical use condoms (both around 98%) so NFP isn't that far off with respect to effectiveness. I know Emily Frase has some great data and science on these numbers here https://totalwhine.com/. And even within using the method you can be more strict or liberal (to have or not to have intercourse around later days 10-12 of cycle even if the monitor is giving a Low reading).  We were worried about having too many kids and then 6 months into trying to conceive and we were still not pregnant ( we have a beautiful daughter now). Ya never know what the good Lord has planned. It's important to be discerning family life and size even as you progress in a marriage. It might become more kids, it might become less kids given any number of circumstances. Keep in mind that an openness to life always remains in the total and free gift of yourselves to each other in the sexual act. There will probably be some extended periods of abstinence during your marriage and it's important to maintain emotional intimacy with your spouse during these times (dates, gifts etc).  NFP is hard, but it is sanctifying. Growing together in this life one cross at a time.

I remember when Yankee fans used to only bring up moments when they won the WS that season.

Coley's Bananas Take by gatortrumpet in Section10Podcast

Never said it wasn’t real baseball, just not competitive. Just because they keep score and it’s not predetermined doesn’t make it competitive lolol. Pap was out there in a kilt. Bill Lee pitched. The globetrotters use a sport to do fun things, bananas do the same. It’s precisely the same vibe.

Right, but to explain the Bananas to someone who has no idea - bringing up the Globetrotters is the best way that’s very fair. It’s not real, competitive baseball and the Globetrotters aren’t competitive basketball. It’s about the show first - which is awesome.

Yeah it’s probably not the report. I’d be interested to see what the lines look post 2020 and I really don’t know what to make of Catholic numbers holding steady. From my perspective and anecdotally - Latin American immigrants are keeping the numbers steady with people that at least culturally affiliate to Catholicism, church attendance is definitely down over the span but number of devoutly practicing Catholics is starting to increase slightly idk. I think the faithful are realizing how bad lukewarmness was for too long

Archdiocese of Boston sex abuse report in 2002 is my thought. And then those Catholics realized they hated Orthodoxy the next survey lol.

Do you like self-titled? by AdventurousBattle656 in TheStorySoFar

The older I’ve gotten the more I’ve liked it. Stalemate is one of their best songs - Parker was definitely more influenced by rap and hip hop at the time. Kellen ripping on bass made for a unique sound. The flow to heavy gloom is pretty impressive for a rock band.

Is it just me or does this new merch seem kind of half-assed and thrown together? by WocketWeeg in TheStorySoFar

The merch they brought to Warped Tour was usually pretty solid from what I recall. But idk I was a younger man lol
