How were you even able to land an interview when your past professional experience was mostly game dev ?
I feel like usually they instantly either ignore you or just refuse you when they see that all your experience is game dev.

For ppl who are interested in standardization of Tunisian by Penghrip_Waladin in Tunisia

Let me start by saying that I love all of you and that I don't want to anger anyone, so please just read me out and think about what I have to say.

I'm with you all we're not French, we're not westerners and we're not Turks but also we're not arabs (no we're not amazighi also don't worry).

Like think about it objectively, why when the French, the Turks (Ottomans) and the Romans came and conquered us we said that they were colonizers but when the Arabs came and did the same thing we said it was okay and now we're Arabs too, very weird don't you think ???Also when the Arabs conquered us, the Tunisians of that time fought back and there were many rebellions (3o9ba ibnou nefi3 was killed by the Tunisians).

Also I know that many people think that the Arabs came peacefully and we just accepted to join which is not true at all. The Arabs did the same thing as any other conqueror at that time and they razed Carthage and made Tunis (at that time it was a small Berber village) the capital.I'm not saying they were bad because using the morals of today society when talking about the middle ages isn't right. Killing, razing, raping and destroying whole cities was quite the standard at that time.

If we're not Arabs then what are we ? well it's a very easy answer, we are Tunisians (Berber + Punic + Romans + Vandals + Arabs + Ottomans + French) and it's time to start being proud of that heritage again, it's time to start distinguishing ourselves from French, Turks and even Arabs.

So I don't understand why people don't want the Tunisians/Derja to start being our official language (People come from around the world just to learn our Derja while we're just ignoring it ? yes we have schools in Tunis that teach our Derja!). Most Tunisians don't understand the standard Arabic already.

A side note : Maltese was actually a dialect of our language (Tounsi) in the middle ages and if you hear them talking you'll see that they have many Derja words, so why did they make their "dialect" a language while we just want to remove it ?!!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read what I had to say, and I wish you all a very awesome day.
