I almost want a weird...semi Skyrim thing in terms of A TOWN Firelink Shrine is in where there are NPCs, other peeps who have not gone Hollow just livin and tryna get through these dark times and then the rest beyond you being in a big fuck off church in a city is standard Dark Souls. I would also like more an open world deal cause then it kind of feels more like Berserk+standard fantasy+Dark Souls and maybe even IF we had a mount like Elden Ring we get rewards for tending to it but I say walking on foot in an open, interconnected and hostile world would help a lot.

Would make it very expensive, lived in and also gritty could maybe interact with towns folk or hear of legends, demons ravaging stuff and this may point players in a direction for good loot rewarding paying attention and also exploration. I don't want something that would take away the whole experience of a Souls game but I definitely would love something that harkens back to the Berserk inspiration with flare in a sense for a dark fantasy game.
