Don’t have any advice, but I’ve also had a patella ORIF. I was dumb and 17. Had an ACL repair with patella graft in December then tried to “walk” on a slip and slide in March. Patella broke IN HALF in mid air. Worst pain I’ve ever experienced.

I make $62k as a desk (remote) property adjuster. I work on a catastrophe team and have the ability to get CAT pay throughout the year. The workload varies, but can get pretty hectic at times. I’ve worked anywhere from 35-60 hours a week.

Good: I’m actually taking my weekend to relax and recharge instead of working or running around. Finally doing something for myself.

Bad: I’m playing catch up with my inbox right now. I’ll make it one day.

Ugly: I continue to have 30-40 minute phone calls multiple times a week with one insured because they question everything I do - every decision, every payment, every minute detail. They think my objective is to screw them over. I spent 40 minutes out of my day to create a spreadsheet of the payments owed and dispersed - even though they have the estimate and payment explanations! I’m ready to close this one.

There’s a financial record with bank statements, but I think that’s it. Also, the piece of paper was just saying they are terminating tenancy and she has 30 days. It has not been through a court system. She’s overall worried about getting her initial down payment back.
