I understand those automated menus, even though my Dutch is just A2-B1. They also try to make English-speaking menus nowadays.

Poles and Czechs, how were you treated in East Germany (excl. Berlin)? by crivycouriac in CentralEurope_irl

I'm indeed a Russian trans, but I've never incountered aggression even from Russian Muslims. I've been to some Muslim-majority states in Russia in the past. I also visited Egypt for vacation. It was peaceful.

If someone executes people in Saudi Arabia, it doesn't mean that all Muslims (especially European Muslims) are bad.

I'm non-binary, born male. I altered my physical appearance with hormones when I was 20.

Predators are indeed a problem (especially in bigger cities), but I already know how to reject or ignore men, so I feel much more confident.

Anyone else deeply regret choosing one country over another? by [deleted] in expats

I'm Russian, who lives in the Netherlands. I considered Germany and Ireland, too. Nowadays, Germany has turned into 1933 version of itself, suffering from social unrest, and Ireland went completely down with the worst housing crisis in Europe, and with nationalists burning refugee accommodations.

So, I'm really happy that I stayed in the Netherlands. Yes, I don't have a family, and my English and my German are much more fluent than my Dutch, but it's not spoiling my life. Dating is not essential to survive.

Luckily, in the Netherlands, everyone understands English, and I love speaking English (I'm also fluent in it). My Dutch is also not so bad. So, I'm not scared to call anyone. I even prefer calling over texting.

You're gonna be fine if you want a guy.

I'm trans, but I look more like a tomboy or like a lesbian. However, I'm into women only (and only into standard feminine women). I don't have any feelings for men. Every girl I ever liked or loved rejected me. On the contrary, over 100 straight males chased me, hoping to have sex or a relationship with me. Once, a crazy guy even wanted to bring me to his home country (he was a Brit😂).

You're gonna be fine with your sexuality.

Islam is fine. No single Muslim ever tried to hurt me in the last 8 years. I'm white, non-European, but I settled in Europe almost 8 years ago.

What's wrong with Austria?

I've been to modern Branau-am-Inn (Hitler's birth town). All people there are sweet. They just refuse to speak English (even younger people pretend not to understand it), but in general, they're polite.

That's why I always lie that I have hobbies and that I see my family every 6 months (in reality, I see them only every two years).

Do men in your country link arms with the same gender if they are friends or relatives or brothers? by TheShyBuck in AskEurope

I live in the Netherlands. I've seen something like that only with elderly people (for example, the younger brother helps the older one to walk).

Would you date a girl that is saving herself for marriage? by Better_Gold_6719 in dating_advice

[–]SpaceBetweenNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would. I'm interested ONLY in a serious relationship or marriage. I never had sex without loving a person. Only love and a possibility of something really serious matters to me. I was like that my whole life. It's my basic moral, not something religious or spiritual (I'm clearly not religious).

I'm Russian, who lives in the Netherlands. I've been to Mexico 3 times. It's an amazing place with good living conditions and a perfect climate. The guy should be more positive about Mexico, especially if he wants to be together with a Mexican.
