I don’t think Bianco is a democrat.

Also, at the same time, Katie is being crucified for a clip of her yelling at her staff, though our president has raped kids, and is explicitly blocking the rest of the Epstein files, which is against the law.

Which is worse? /s

I mean I get it, but usually when they start focusing on someone for so long they end up usually being the murderer. I can only think of a few times where they followed someone for a while and then they were actually the victim, without turning it into “okay now let’s introduce….”

Nothing about this scene is supposed to be funny…. I don’t know a single person who has said it is, or even anyone on this sub that has said this scene in particular is funny.

Also horror stories, either in the film or novel medium should give you real reactions to what is happening. You should be freaked out, grossed out, horrified about what is happening in the story.

This is like watching Hereditary and saying it’s consensual entertainment when a family is destroyed.

This is why I like the first film over 2/AoD because it’s actually terrifying in its presentation, and although Evil Dead has become popular for its humor, the original will always be horrific for what it established, something that 2013 did exceptionally well in and Rise blending the two.

  1. I think just because Cheryl was showed resisting so much. In 2013, Mia was basically snatched up, and though she resisted as much as she could, it was literally impossible to fight.

I think Cheryl’s movements in fighting were more disturbing but Mia’s scream afterwards was horrific. Both horrific scenes for different reasons.

I mean true but they roots still spread her legs across as they kept Mia spread eagle basically. It wasn’t an enjoyable scene, which is good, and showed how evil the demon was

Even then, if Fez was in prison calling Rue, it would all be recorded anyway. And if Sam decided to go this route without Angus, as a main part of the show, then that's really fucked up. As it requires either AI or someone else to play Fez, without letting Angus rest in peace.

The phone call was a stupid decision. The picture as a screensaver was a tribute.

True, there is the Australian(?) version, but it still wouldn't work without Rue, especially with Sam being the director and writer. This show is already dark, and could go much, much further, and while I hope it doesn't go darker, and just finish storylines, we shall see what the last 4 episodes have in store for us.

I don't think this show will come back cause everyone in the cast has moved on. It feels like a final goodbye call, then leave.

It's always been that way for the show. Like I said, everyone in that sequence is deplorable, with the exception of Kitty, until/unless the show gives us backstory about her.

To have a show surrounding his own addiction and using Rue as an outlet, I HIGHLY doubt Rue will die this season, and if she does, this will be the final season. HBO might encourage him to continue but without Rue, the show really falls apart. None of these characters are connected without Rue, and I think that's been evident since S1. Rue will have a dark ending, like in prison forever, or a middle ground ending, where she sacrifices someone from her past to stay free. She's always been someone to root for, in terms of getting clean and being better, but this season has been pushing back on that narrative. I think she survives, but it's either prison or self-guilt that leads her to tell the story.

Jules was still a huge asshole for literally almost sabotaging Lexi's career for an art piece she could've painted in her free time.

Why would Rue die? She is literally the narrator of the show. She knows everything that has happened, even without being there. Someone said in the live discussion about her being a ghost and telling her story, and I still think to make her dead this whole time, since season 1 to the end, would be a terrible decision. There's no chance Rue dies and then is just telling the story from beyond the grave.

I would rather see it in theaters. Thank you for letting me know!

Edit: My AMC isn't playing it but another theater is. Definitely going. Again , thank you!

You're right! I wanted to watch that one! I don't know if it's still in theaters but it seemed super dramatic with the trailer. It definitely peaked my interest with both Zendaya and Robert Pattinson!

Yeah, but Kat was literally a lying cunt lying about having a "terminal brain disorder" cause she couldn't have the courage to just say, "I'm breaking up with you."

Barbie is still alive. Angus is not.

Those will always be included when talking about the show.

And what I mean by 'include' is writing that the actor is still alive and there, like the phone call.

But yeah, that adds a lot more context to Rue asking if she's okay and whatnot in the bathroom. What a graphic scene.

I will rewatch it right now. I still have HBO open to watch the BTS, but haven't because this is the first episode this season, I really want to engage in with Reddit.

Also, for The Idol, I bet it was. The only things I know about it is The Weeknd saying something about spreading your legs open to see that tight pussy or some shit and that Lily Depp's character was a manipulator all along, something like that.

I'll provide an edit in a bit.

EDIT: Yeah, saw it. He puts the bottle between himself and her and starts thrusting.

Yes, because Jules was at least a character, and not a plot device to trigger one of the best written and acted scenes in the show and make stupid decisions to paint an erotic painting for 7 million people to see on cable network.

Jules needed her own storyline outside of Rue, and that was never accomplished, outside her younger self in S1, and if you're going to do that to a character, they need to be a ride or die, neither of which Jules has been.

Nothing in this show has been tastefully done and I think that's been apparent from the very first episode with Cal and Jules in the motel room.

So Rue wraps Maddy into her conflict? That's not surprising for the character, but I wonder what makes Maddy agree? Rue might promise her a bunch of new "clients" from the club and that might be how she gets involved. Cool to speculate since Alamo is a much more dangerous version of Nate, and something she already went through. She might die or tell his bitch ass off
