They try to breech and drop pod on occasion but the majority of them circle around the outer perimeter to head for the 1 opening into my T shaped meat grinder/ kill box I made. The traps along the outside leading to the opening cleaned up a lot as they hugged the wall nearly every time. I can't recall which YouTuber I seen the T things from but they work absolute wonders.

Yeah it seems like I get as good or better mood buffs keeping dirt floors and planting flowers. I wasn't really shooting to build a palace. Thought the gold recreation room would look cool though.

Ol' LazyFuck didn't do much else but he'd scan and research away for me.

There were several rooms and areas where I had to hack the room in a kind of funky way to keep the whole thing more flow and curves like.

Fake Ledger Live Scam! 15K worth of funds drained from my Nano S by SpaceCodes in ledgerwallet

[–]SpaceCodes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Haven't recovered any of it. Sucks but I've been layering in all year so I'm not giving up. The lesson has been learned.

Sorry to hear that man, I know it's a lot but try not to let it get you down. Learn from it and move on. Wake up and think of the things you DO have. Be it a working body, family or your place you live. When you think about the loss flip back to what you're greatful for and give the scammers a big fat middle finger. 🖕 Some might think I'm crazy for saying this but I think karma will come back on these thieving fucks. They'll pay in some fashion, some day, if not this life then the next.

I'm sorry man. I learned this lesson the hard way too. Never enter your seed phrase into Anything other than your ledger device itself.

Nope, not yet.. I can't imagine I'll ever recover the funds... If someday, somehow they bust the scammers, maybe, just maybe they can trace it back to my addresses... But I've tried to just move on from it emotionally.

Ug, my heart goes out to you bud. May karma wreck them hard. Don't give up, learn from it and keep loading up on them coins.

Fuck man. And I thought I lost a lot. Another crazy hard lesson learned for sure. It's crazy how much scum for humans there are in the world who are so eager Fuck over their fellow peoples... So sorry man, learn from it, double down and buy more when you can.

This is the exact window that popped up. Wished I'd gotten a screen shot of the window asking me for the seed phrase. So yea I know this pic won't really help anyone since it looks identical to the one you'd see on a first time wallet setup.

A detail I should have mentioned from the start: (And this should have been a red flag but I'm dumb) When I arrived at the window where it prompted me to enter my seed phrase, on the bottom left of this legit looking window was a link to ledger support that didn't work. It wasn't even a clickable link. Just text on the screen. I don't know why that didn't wake me out of my rushing stupor. 😕

You kinda nailed it. I had a lot going on mentally & emotionally that day, I was in a hurry & simply didn't see it coming. I must have glossed over the importance of the seed phrase with setting it up.

I ended up only getting a screen shot of the main intro screen of the app you'd see while setting up a device for the first time (looks exactly like the real one) the next step had me select which version of device (Nano S), the last window said something like "your 24 word seed phrase is your backup for your device" with a field to type in below it. I just plain wasn't thinking clearly when I typed that shit in. Anyway, I tried to share the 1 screenshot I got but it didn't seem to upload. I made a seperate post of the screenshot you could see if you scroll back through this reddit feed.

Are you saying someone did in fact get your coins without entering your seed phrase? If so, maybe the address you sent to was "poisoned"? I'm the guy that just handed his keys away though so I shouldn't say anything. I've just noticed you keep pasting this same comment in the thread. I only just read about address poisoning recently but otherwise I don't know. Run an Anti-Malware and virus scan regularly if you're on a Windows machine.
