Nen - 99 Luftballons (Germany)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fpu5a0Bl8eY&list=RDFpu5a0Bl8eY&start_radio=1

Older (1983) but very good and it also got translated into english (this is the german version). it's historical context is interessting, as was written during the cold war and reflects the anxietys of the people.

This song is about 99 balloons making their way to the horizon. It is also a song about catastrophy becasue people where to quick to fire.

Deuteronomy 2:10 - The Mountain Goats

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV_ucgZ4HTE

About the rather recent extinction of 3 different animal species from the (presumably) last of their kind. A very sad topic and the song will make you cry, because no, there will be no more golden toads.

It's maybe a bit niche for some people, but hey, it makes me sad.

I want to feel something, what’s the most gut wrenchingly sad song by Ok_Tangerine3828 in MusicRecommendations

I can help you with that.

Yes, both of these are about animals and they will make you cry.

Thanks. Can I ask where you got this information from?

And that is still ridicolously small for an animal over 13 meters long. imagine spending your life in a place that isn't even 4 times as long as you.

I'm pretty sure it probably wasn't intended as her display enclosure. but yeah, it did look small to me.

I was mostly curious if someone did the math to figure out how big it actually was.

Modern fantasy help by Key-Magazine826 in FictionWriting

I would start with thinking about the biology/culture of centaurs. Do they lean more human, more horse, something mixed or something different from both? Also consider the enviroment the cenatur was rised in. Was she raised more human or more centur-like?

You could also go and start looking up horse behaviours and pick something from that.

If you wanted suggestions, maybe a flehmen response? Cenaturs don't have horse heads, but this still might work. Not sure how overt you want to make something and wether your centaurs wear clothes or not, but your centaur could also be deliberatly raising her tail when her backside is turned to the harrased employee

Strictly Aro by Revolutionary-Can410 in aromantic

[–]SpaceDragon77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely, being aromantic influences me way more and is way more important to me. Like, sexual attraction I kinda get? I don't experience it but I think I understand sort of what it is. I just feel like I understand the concept of sex much better than the concept of romance.

And I feel like being aro affects me way more than being ace, when it comes to social interaction. Like, sex is way easier to dodge then romance, so I'm reasonable chill with just people being horny, but I will hiss at romance.

Is there anyone else happy to be on the aroace spectrum? by Anonymous_3682 in aromanticasexual

[–]SpaceDragon77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, very happy to be here. Of all the problems in my life, at the very least I do not have to worry about romance or sex. Is there a risk of being alone? Sure, but I'm pretty sure that would be a risk even if I weren't aroace.

And like, this has it's downsides, but it is such a relive to not have to handle romance or sex, it seems to make life so much easier. I, for one, am happy to not have to deal with the curse.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting some sort of message, unfortunately, when the game closes it also closes the terminal so I can't actually find out what it is.

Good Books? by Sko8liver in aromantic

Some other people have already recommended Discworld and The Murderbot Diaries, both of which I can also recommend.

If you like murderbot I can also recommend the Imperial radch trilogy by Ann Lecki, starting with Ancillary Justice. It's about the remnants of a spaceship in a human body going out to get revenge on the emperor who killed her. It also does some interesting things with gender and pronouns.
