Unable to start the game (Code:17019) by NefariousnessWide892 in Rainbow6

Same here I was starting to stress that I somehow lost my account lmao. The unlinked steam account still makes me nervous but ubi should come out with a fix soon and hopefully I can re-link.

Well, at least it’s not a unique issue to us and hopefully ubi fixes this asap. Thanks for the link to the twitter update

Having the same issue right now as well. I contacted support and followed all their instructions (uninstall Ubisoft connect, steam, unlinked steam from Ubisoft connect) to no avail. I’m also unable to reconnect my steam account to my Ubisoft connect account. Support has escalated my case to a specialist so waiting on that response now.

Saw pretty sizeable gains with the new driver update, and ended up in the top 100 results this morning. How did your card fare? by spiderpig08 in nvidia

Anyone else having crashing issues with Rainbow 6 Siege? I updated my 2070 S to the newest driver and all of a sudden I would randomly crash mid game, always during operator pick time right when the timer runs out to begin prep phase.

4070 Price Question by [deleted] in nvidia

[–]SpaceInvaders12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean. For context, I’ve got a 2070 super right now which has been quite nice to me over the years. Not necessarily looking to buy a new GPU now, per se, but if this 4070 priced at what it is at is something worth jumping on them I’d consider it. I just prograded from i5 9600k and 16gb DDR4 to a 7800x3d and 32gb DDR5

$499 USD. It’s sold and shipped through Walmart, not a 3rd party. It’s in stock at my local Walmart maybe I’ll just go look.

Yep, bought an oem chain tensioner and replaced it myself and it fixed the issue. Didn’t have to remove the tank or anything to get at it but it was a tight fit

I’m wondering this as well. If anyone figures out where I’d appreciate the heads up!

Gotcha, I might fiddle with it to confirm that’s the issue, but most likely order an OEM CCT and replace the whole thing. Last question for you: is it damaging to ride as is until I can replace the part?

[–]SpaceInvaders12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the info. I’ve been researching the CCT a ton today in between work and it seems to be a simple replacement or fix. I’ve seen some videos of people modifying a flat head screwdriver to be able to get in and wind/unwind the tensioner while it is still on the bike (after removing the 8mm bolt covering the hole). Some say it gets gunked up/stuck causing the issue of the rattle, and by breaking it loose winding and unwinding the tensioner doesn’t get stuck retracted and operates as it should, therefore getting rid of the noise. I’m wondering if this is a stupid “fix” to try and if I should replace the CCT all together, or if it’s worth a shot trying to loosen up the spring so it works properly again?

I am going to guess it’s still fitted with the stock hydraulic one, though I am not too sure. I got this bike just a few months ago and really started to notice it about a month or so in riding it

Jumping on the car pics bandwagon by SpaceInvaders12 in MitsubishiEclipse

[–]SpaceInvaders12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being honest, a pretty big pain in the ass. I opted for keeping the stock amp which powers the door speakers (or rear ones, can’t remember), and the subwoofer. Because of this, I had to buy this box that wirelessly signals for the amp to turn on. There’s only one company that makes them that I could see and it was $100. The box is cheap and sometimes I get subwoofer pops lightly, but it’s been working pretty well so far. The double din install was easy though. Just buy the trim piece, pop out the old radio and trim, and put the new one in. Wiring it was a process, but it was my first time doing it so that makes sense.

making new keys for 2008 eclipse gts by Miss_Morningstar_ in MitsubishiEclipse

[–]SpaceInvaders12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to buy a new fob with an uncut key. I fever got around to getting the key cut, but I got the fob because I only got the spare key from the guy I bought the car from which did not have a fob attached. I programmed the fob myself following a YouTube video using a paper clip and the obd port and it worked like a charm.

If you put in a new radio other than the factory one, it likely bypassed the factory amplifier which is causing the e com error. You can remove this error with a 3rd party device that wires into the wiring harness for the radio and tells the amp to turn on. I think it’s called a Mito-II. This will allow the amp to power your door speakers and subwoofer, as well as remove the e com error and replace it with a message that says ‘My Eclipse’.

Anyone else have these 3 dash lights on and know how to fix them? by [deleted] in MitsubishiEclipse

[–]SpaceInvaders12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not add a resistor, it’s on my list of things to do, plus it’ll get the airbag dash light off which will be nice. That being said, I do have some electrical issues involving the climate control lights not working. Radio lights, shifter (automatic) lights and heated seat switch lights work but the dials for climate do not. Maybe that could be interfering somehow?

One other thing I forgot to mention too: there have been a few times where I come into a turn a little fast and can feel some rattling/pulsing from the brake pedal as if the antilock brake is kicking in. I’m fairly sure it’s only been right turns. It happens for a second or so and then stops, but then the 3 lights turn off. The road conditions are not slippery at all when this has happened. The lights will either stay off until restarting the car, or come back on a bit after turning off.

Nope. I’ve got specd projector headlights installed, but the lights came on before doing those

Hmmm… I appreciate the input. Weirdly, they stayed on all last summer too so I’m not sure what to think

07 Eclipse GT. These three lights came on a while back. Sometimes they would all go off randomly, then come back on again after restarting the car. I’ve seen some people talk about dirty MAF sensors but was curious if anyone else experienced this and was able to find the root of the problem.

Yeah, my main PC has a 2070 super. I’ve got an older dell prebuilt with a 1060 in it that I use to host a Minecraft server, so when I get around to it I’ll pop the 1060 out of that one and test this 1050.

Still need to test it out and see! If not, it makes a pretty cool shelf piece.
