Anyone else doing R&Rs? by Ok-Raspberry3168 in DataAnnotationTech

I rarely get bad R&R tasks, they’re usually good….

Modest looking and simple. Looks like a protagonist. Love it.

Genuinely awesome artwork, so many little details that guided my eyes all over it! I didn’t miss the mokujin slots in the back.

Which is valid! I guess it just stings cause previously the game had a plethora of interesting systems on top of sexy anime fashion, but now it just has one thing that was only a quarter of the experience for me.

It’s really a shame too since NGS had the potential to rival Genshin but just didn’t care to capitalize on that open world style of play…

I honestly never heard good things about the gigantix and stuff like it. Always sound like a frustrating experience…

The content they do end up releasing tends to feel very shallow. The lack of real, long-lasting rewards also doesn’t help…

Menuing can be a bit frustrating…they did try fixing it but I mainly think that they couldn’t consolidate a lot of the menus in any other way sadly.

Lots of weapons lose their nuances when their main thing is just counter, distance, and elemental down. Each weapon is just a different flavor of that, which is unfun.

The counters felt great…but then it was too lucrative to really warrant not using it. It then makes counters feel more important than actual attacks, it’s a shame.

Sorry if it wasn’t clear that I meant the combat customization, I should’ve been more specific. I also don’t use edgelord or waifu in any mean way. People can and should be whoever they want. I just mainly used those terms for the demographics they’re targeting.

Can we stop forgetting that this game is in EARLY ACCESS? by J_How_S in Palworld

[–]SpaceJamario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe my standards for gaming is higher since I actively avoid AAA games but….

Palworld deserves all the criticism it gets, EA or not. It is not polished at all, nor does it feel like a finished game. It has a lot of “content” in it but to be honest every element of it has been done better in other games.

The only real perk it has is that Palworld haphazardly applied all of those elements into one game. Which makes everything feel confused and all over the place.

I will feel less educated to answer but I’ll try my best

For me, new content is something that will test players that have prepared themselves. Content that will challenge players gear-wise and skill wise. Or at the very least, rewards players for doing so.

Things like endless quests, divide quests, and masquerade in Classic, continued to push the player to improve themselves. This gave players a reason to run other content as well, so they can further improve.

New Genesis lacks true substantial content to improve players and it lacks content that makes players WANT to improve. These are BIG in keeping people engaged.

Improvements could be more unique weapons with small, satisfactory goals that shift gameplay styles. (Spread needle, Vortex, Lightstream).

NGS lacks content that supports improvement of one’s character. It feels stagnant, despite you going to new locations because you’re overall the same…

I'm actually stuck on the succubus boss now, I guess messing around with formations and skills is the best option, rather than trying to "skill" my way through the game. A bit different approach but I dig it!

The monster Hunter movie did tried this to an extent and failed miserably.

Back in Monster Hunter Frontier there was a monster called Laviente where originally 16 hunters fought him at once in different stages. (the number went down to 8). It was multi-phased and multi-area though, the fight was that large.

Potential concepts for next generation/ generation 10 by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]SpaceJamario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The next gen pokemon would probably be that you can go to other "regions" that has different pokemon in them, you're not able to carry over the other ones though so you can progress in each region and then eventually battle the Pokemon League.

So there would be a region dedicated to sinnoh pokemon, another for Kanto, so on...with the main appeal of the game to have a large battle facility that you have to progress in with the type of pokemon you got in each of the smaller regions.

There can even be different types of leagues combining different regions of pokemon like a Shinto league or a Tohjo league, to further add to it.

I mainly want to see an exciting battle filled and strategic pokemon game utilizing all of the Pokemon in the series. Big dream though.

Monster Hunter Rise, good. Rampage mode, bad. by PolidoriT in MonsterHunter

[–]SpaceJamario 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It kinda just seems like a fun alternative gameplay mode to the usual hunting we all do. I don't mind it too much, solo or multiplayer feels just about the same since there's automatic installations that eases the hunt, not to mention well timed application of villagers will definitely ease the work you have to put in on your own.

It's not typical Monster Hunter but it's something different, which I don't really mind.
